Biz Tech at Ironclad

Biz Tech builds and runs the systems, services, and operational foundations that help Ironclad scale. We partner across every part of the company to deliver secure, reliable, and thoughtful employee technology experiences. Our team balances day-to-day execution with continuous improvement, combining strong customer empathy with sound operational judgment and a bias toward scalable solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead complex cross-functional programs that improve scalability, consistency, and operational maturity across IT operations and employee technology services.

  • Own and evolve Ironclad’s SaaS management program, using Zylo as a core system of record for application inventory, ownership, contract visibility, spend, and utilization.

  • Partner across IT, Security, Engineering, Workplace, Finance, People, Legal, Procurement, and business teams to align priorities, remove friction, and turn ambiguous initiatives into durable operational capabilities.

  • Build and drive program plans, operating models, governance cadences, readiness plans, escalation paths, and success metrics for initiatives spanning SaaS lifecycle management, renewal operations, employee lifecycle processes, identity and access, endpoint operations, and workplace technology.

  • Drive renewal readiness and license optimization processes, including renewal alerts, usage reviews, reclamation workflows, rightsizing recommendations, and decision support for app owners ahead of renewals.

  • Improve the quality and completeness of SaaS data by driving inventory hygiene, lifecycle stage management, ownership clarity, and cross-system process improvements across finance, contract, and identity data sources.

  • Create clarity across long-running cross-functional efforts by defining ownership, sequencing work, managing dependencies, and driving accountable follow-through.

  • Own intake, prioritization, coordination, and status communication for operational work coming from cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

  • Partner with technical teams to ensure new tooling, infrastructure changes, direct integrations, and internal platform rollouts are operationally ready and sustainably supported at scale.

  • Improve service quality and operational visibility through documentation, process design, metrics, workflow improvements, dashboards, and automation.

  • Bring a pragmatic, hands-on mindset to high-priority initiatives, balancing program leadership with enough operational fluency to work effectively with IT Services, SaaS operations, and adjacent technical teams.

  • Help the organization scale with strong operational judgment, sound controls, and a high-empathy employee experience.

What You Have

  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, SaaS operations, IT operations, business technology, or a related function in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS management disciplines, including application inventory, ownership models, renewal management, contract and spend visibility, license utilization, reclamation, and rightsizing.

  • Experience using or administering SaaS management platforms such as Zylo, or comparable systems used to drive software lifecycle governance and operational decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of employee technology domains such as support operations, onboarding and offboarding, collaboration tooling, identity and access management, endpoint and device lifecycle, and workplace technology.

  • Experience building and scaling operational processes, service models, governance structures, and execution frameworks across technical and operational teams.

  • Strong judgment and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands, and keep momentum across multiple parallel initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners and influence without direct authority.

  • A track record of improving internal operations through process design, documentation, metrics, standardization, automation, and data quality improvements.

  • Hands-on familiarity with core employee platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, ITSM tooling, PM tools such as Linear and related systems is strongly preferred.

  • A low-ego, high-ownership working style with a bias toward pragmatic outcomes, strong collaboration, and durable improvements.
