Job Description
- Professional certifications are an ongoing requirement. Comparable certifications on competitors’ products are equivalent to IBM certifications.
- Skills should include a detailed understanding of Storage System Disk environments.
- Ability to install hardware and connectivity setup
- Strong experience in performing Firmware upgrades
- Strong knowledge and experience in Data Migrations
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to perform Disk Eradication and Degaussing a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a Services Storage System Engineer for post-sale activities implementing solutions at client locations nationally.
- Perform system-engineering delivery functions with respect to the development of system concepts, and requirements, at the system, software, and hardware levels.

- Have good experience in Cisco Networking
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Storage and Network infrastructure and systems on-site as a professional consultant/client-facing.
- Must have the ability to work after hours and on weekends as needed
- Experience and understanding of Network VLANs
- Spectrum Protect & Spectrum Protect Plus - Implementation and management.
Education and/or Experience
- BA or BS or equivalent required.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and implementing Enterprise storage.
