The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) serves as the primary strategic relationship manager and executive point of contact for assigned clients. This individual is accountable for overall client satisfaction, retention, growth, and the successful execution of client strategies and contractual commitments. The SAE partners closely with clinical, operational, financial, and implementation teams to deliver exceptional service, identify opportunities to enhance client value, and ensure long-term partnership success.
This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Labor & Trust (Taft-Hartley) clients. The SAE will develop and maintain strong relationships with Fund Trustees, Fund Administrators, Consultants, Union Leadership, and other key stakeholders while serving as a trusted advisor on pharmacy benefit strategies, industry trends, and healthcare cost management.

- Understand the unique governance structure, fiduciary obligations, and benefit priorities associated with multiemployer health and welfare funds
- Provide strategic consultation regarding pharmacy benefit trends, regulatory developments, cost management initiatives, specialty pharmacy management, and clinical program opportunities
- Support client renewals, market evaluations, RFP processes, and complex contract negotiations
- Present recommendations and business reviews to Boards of Trustees and other executive stakeholder groups
- Collaborate with internal partners to proactively identify and implement solutions that improve client outcomes and member experience

Required Qualifications:
- Significant experience in account management, client management, consulting, healthcare, PBM, health benefits, or a related field
- Experience managing complex strategic client relationships and executive-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes across multiple business partners
- Demonstrated solid presentation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), healthcare, health plan, or employee benefits experience
- Experience managing Labor & Trust (Taft-Hartley) health and welfare fund clients
- Experience working with Fund Trustees, Fund Administrators, labor consultants, and union leadership
- Experience presenting to Boards of Trustees or similar governance bodies
- Knowledge of multiemployer health plans, collectively bargained benefits, and union-sponsored healthcare programs
- Understanding of labor market dynamics and the unique needs of Labor & Trust organizations
