About the team

The Partnerships team is a new team at Decagon that will focus on driving product, revenue, and ecosystem growth through technology, solutions, channel, cloud, and AI partnerships. As one of our first team members, you’ll be responsible for setting strategy, building programs and process, and driving execution to accelerate customer outcomes.

About the role

Decagon is looking for a Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Lead, a founding member of our Partnerships team who will build and own relationships with major cloud providers, market-leading generative AI players, and strategic technology partners. In this role, you will bring your skills in commercial negotiation, program design, and joint go-to-market planning to drive commercial and customer outcomes with strategic partners. The ideal candidate brings experience building strong cloud, technology, and AI partnerships in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will work with the Director of Partnerships to:

  • Launch and grow marketplace and co-sell programs with cloud marketplaces

  • Lead commercial negotiations with partners to drive win/win scenarios and grow our partner business

  • Grow partner sourced SQLs, pipeline, and closed won repeatable revenue across the ecosystem

  • Establish and build alliances with leading AI and technology companies/labs to co-develop integrations, research collaborations, and joint proof-of-concepts

  • Develop and launch partner enablement initiatives, including training paths, go-to-market plays, and shared marketing assets

  • Influence product roadmaps by incorporating partner feedback, ensuring Decagon’s platform aligns with evolving AI and cloud ecosystem trends

  • Represent Decagon at industry conferences, joint partner events, and ecosystem roundtables where needed

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure partner performance and alignment with Decagon’s revenue strategy

You may a good fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel partnerships at high-growth SaaS or AI companies

  • Deep experience working with cloud/hyperscaler partners and market-leading AI companies

  • Know how to build partner programs from the ground up and launched successful co-sell motions with partner companies

  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skills and can represent Decagon in the ecosystem

Compensation:

$220,000 - $295,000 OTE + offers equity
