About Persona

Persona is the configurable identity platform built for businesses in a digital-first world. Verifying individuals and organizations is harder — but more important — than ever, with AI enabling fraudsters to launch sophisticated accounts at scale and regulations evolving rapidly.

We’ve built Persona to support practically every use case and industry — that’s why we’re able to serve a wide range of leading companies. For example, Reddit relies on Persona for age assurance and verification to comply with online safety regulations, protecting younger users while maintaining a seamless experience. Meanwhile, OpenAI relies on Persona to keep bad actors out, protecting one of the world’s most powerful AI platforms from large-scale abuse in a time when AI is reshaping the way we work and live.

We’re growing rapidly and looking for exceptional people to join us!

About the Role

We’re looking for a technical, resourceful, and strategic individual to join Persona’s growing Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance and Go To Market, working directly with the rest of the finance team, as well as Sales and Post-Sales leadership to build, manage, update, and explain our compensation structures internally. The data you work with will be sensitive and important to shaping the right incentives to fuel Persona’s next stage of growth, so good judgment paired with accurate and responsible data management is essential.

What you'll do at Persona

Internal Plan Building & Tracking

  • Design, build, and maintain incentive compensation models that align with company goals and drive the right behaviors across Sales and Post-Sales teams.

  • Partner closely with Finance, RevOps, and Sales leadership to translate strategic objectives into clear, measurable compensation structures.

  • Track performance against plans, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and clear visibility into results for all stakeholders.

Compensation Outputs

  • Build, manage, and enhance compensation trackers, dashboards, and modeling tools in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Develop concise, visual presentations in PowerPoint/Slides that communicate plan structure, results, and recommendations to leadership and individual contributors.

  • Continuously refine reporting templates and documentation to simplify plan communication and analysis.

External Consultant Management

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants to implement, test, and optimize system functionality.

  • Ensure external tools are configured accurately and kept in sync with internal data and plan updates.

  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables for external partners to ensure smooth execution.

Compensation Reporting

  • Own recurring compensation review cycles, validating data integrity and plan adherence.

  • Communicate adjustments, performance updates, and payouts to stakeholders at the appropriate cadence.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for troubleshooting discrepancies and answering compensation-related questions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Finance to align incentives with strategic priorities and evolving business needs.

  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and insights to inform future plan design.

  • Partner with HR and Legal as needed to ensure all compensation structures remain compliant and well-documented.

What you'll bring to Persona
  • 2–4+ years of experience in compensation analysis, finance, sales operations, or a related analytical role.

  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets — comfortable building complex models, using advanced formulas, and structuring scalable data systems.

  • Experience with sales compensation or incentive plan design, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment.

  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a strong ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in sensitive financial data.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate technical data into insights that business leaders and individual contributors understand.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, partnering effectively with Sales, RevOps, Finance, and external vendors to align incentives with business objectives.

  • Strong judgment and discretion, understanding the importance of confidentiality and precision when handling compensation data.

  • Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and curiousity — always looking for ways to improve processes and increase transparency across teams.

Full-time Employee Benefits and Perks

For full-time employees (excluding internship and contractor opportunities), Persona offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, 3% 401(k) contribution, unlimited PTO, quarterly mental health days, family planning benefits, professional development stipend, wellness benefits, among others. While we believe competitive compensation and benefits are a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you consider why our core values and culture are right for you.
