About the Role:

We’re looking for an exceptional Strategic Finance Lead to operate at the center of the business, driving high-impact decisions across growth, operations, and resource allocation.

This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of financial analysis and strategy. You will build the financial models, systems, and insights that guide how we invest in GTM for both sides of the marketplace (Supply / Recruiter, and Demand / Customers), scale efficiently, and make critical business decisions. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Engineering to ensure we are allocating capital toward the highest ROI opportunities.

This role is designed for builders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy ambiguity, and want to directly shape the trajectory of a high-growth company.

What You'll Do:

Financial Modeling & Planning

  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and long-term growth

  • Own scenario planning across GTM investments, headcount, and infrastructure

  • Evaluate trade-offs across growth initiatives and recommend optimal resource allocation

GTM Finance & Analytics

  • Analyze operating KPIs and funnel data to evaluate unit economics, channel performance, and overall GTM effectiveness

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve efficiency metrics and drive performance

  • Develop frameworks to assess CAC, payback periods, and ROI across channels

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Own budgeting and forecasting processes for GTM spend

  • Partner with budget owners to align plans with company priorities and ensure accountability

  • Improve visibility across spend, procurement, and resource allocation

Marketplace + Analytics depth

  • Analyze and monitor core marketplace metrics including liquidity, fill rate, take rate, and supply-demand balance to inform growth and operational decisions

  • Build and track marketplace health frameworks (e.g., time-to-fill, submission-to-hire conversion, recruiter activity, role coverage) and identify bottlenecks across the funnel

  • Conduct retention and cohort analysis across both sides of the marketplace (customers and recruiters) to understand engagement, repeat behavior, and long-term value

  • Develop and maintain unit economics models at a granular level (by segment, channel, role type) including contribution margin, CAC payback, and LTV

  • Partner with Product and Operations to improve marketplace efficiency by identifying gaps in liquidity, matching, and activation across supply and demand

  • Translate marketplace dynamics into actionable recommendations on pricing, incentives, and resource allocation

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the connective tissue between Finance and the rest of the organization

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to inform pricing, investment, and expansion decisions

  • Support international expansion by building financial infrastructure and planning models

Special Projects

  • Lead high-impact, ambiguous projects driven by the CEO and leadership team

  • Identify areas that need analytical support and proactively drive clarity

  • Build scalable processes and metrics that improve how the company operates

Who You Are:
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a high-growth startup

  • Strong financial modeling skills with deep proficiency in Excel; SQL is a plus

  • Experience working with large datasets and turning data into actionable insights

  • Fluent in marketplace business models and unit economics

  • Strong understanding of GTM metrics (CAC, conversion funnels, payback, etc.)

Mindset & Traits

  • High ownership and low ego; you care more about getting it right than getting credit

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and solving problems from first principles

  • Naturally curious with a bias toward action

  • Detail-oriented with a “measure twice, cut once” approach to financial analysis

  • Strong communicator who can tailor complex insights to different audiences

  • Energized by working cross-functionally and influencing decisions across the company

  • Excited to build systems and processes from scratch in a fast-scaling environment
