Lead HR strategy for the Insurance division across the Americas, advising senior leaders on resource planning, talent acquisition, development, performance management, organizational design, change management, and HR analytics to drive organizational effectiveness and culture transformation.
The Strategic HR Business Partner for Insurance will play a critical role in leading the HR strategy for the Insurance division within the Americas region. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in HR, analytics, and digital transformation. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, resource management, team management and culture transformation aligned with the company’s objectives. The HRBP will be bringing strong blend of hands-on experience with strategic leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Influence key stakeholders and decision-makers, advocating for HR initiatives and programs.
- Apply strategic thinking to HR initiatives, aligning HR strategy with business goals.
- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive resource management strategies, tools, and processes to optimize resource allocation, utilization, and availability.
- Collaborate with business leaders to conduct resource forecasting and capacity planning to effectively assess and manage resource demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor resource utilization, identify and address excess capacity, or bottlenecks/conflicts and recommend necessary actions/adjustments.
- Demonstrate adaptability in the face of change, leading the organization through periods of transition.
- Design and implement employee development programs to enhance skills, improve productivity, and drive employee satisfaction.
- Conduct performance management activities, including setting objectives, performance reviews, and managing performance improvement plans.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and cultural development.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and manage risk within the organization.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the organization, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
- Promote the company’s reputation as “best place to work”.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Possess at least 10 years of experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on resource management, employee development, performance management, organizational development, and talent acquisition
- Experience in working in a global, multi-cultural, matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with resource management software and tools to track, analyze, and report on resource utilization.
- Demonstrate proficiency in HR metrics and analytics, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Have a strong understanding of compliance and risk management within the HR context.
- Exhibit strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align HR strategy with business goals.
- Show strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and foster a collaborative environment.
- Display adaptability, with the ability to lead the organization through periods of change.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and advocate for HR initiatives and programs.
- Possess additional certifications in HR management, such as the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, would be an asset.
- Have experience in the Insurance business sector would be beneficial.

Salary Range- $139,700.00 - 229,500.00
