About Vantage Data Centers

Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Strategic Initiatives Manager to help drive the programs, processes, tools, and operating rhythms that support a fast-moving, 400-person organization.

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on. The right candidate can take an ambiguous business need, create structure, build the first draft, analyze the data, develop the rollout plan, and drive execution across teams. This is not a traditional project management role — we need someone who can create momentum and produce high-quality work, not just track tasks.

The Strategic Initiatives Manager will partner closely with the Strategic Initiatives Director and senior leaders within the Construction Delivery Organization to support transformation efforts, improve operational processes, develop executive-ready materials, manage organizational rollouts, and use data to guide decisions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong executive communication skills, excellent PowerPoint capabilities, data fluency, creative problem-solving ability, and a talent for building relationships across functions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Drive strategic initiatives, transformation efforts, and cross-functional operational programs.

  • Translate leadership priorities into clear plans, deliverables, and rollout strategies.

  • Create executive-ready presentations, documents, process maps, communications, and tools.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, insights, and recommended actions.

  • Build processes, templates, dashboards, and operating mechanisms that help the organization scale.

  • Partner with leaders and teams to improve alignment, adoption, and execution.

  • Manage ambiguity and proactively move work forward with limited direction.

  • Support leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and organizational communications.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic operations, business operations, transformation, consulting, program management, or related roles.

  • Strong ability to create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and executive communications.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform recommendations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional work and influence without authority.

  • Experience building processes, tools, workflows, or operating rhythms.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Preferred but not required: Data literacy and visualization: SQL, PowerBI, etc.

The salary range for this position is $115,000– $140,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications and may vary from the posted range.

  •

We operate with No Ego and No Arrogance. We work to build each other up and support one another, appreciating each other’s strengths and respecting each other’s weaknesses. We find joy in our work and each other, actively seeking opportunities to inject fun into what we do. Our hard and efficient work is rewarded with an above market total compensation package. We offer a comprehensive suite of health and welfare, retirement, and paid leave benefits exceeding local expectations.

Throughout the year, the advantage of being part of the Vantage team is evident with an array of benefits, recognition, training and development, and the knowledge that your contribution adds value to the company and our community.

Don't meet all the requirements? Please still apply if you think you are the right person for the position. We are always keen to speak to people who connect with our mission and values.
