About Business Financial Group (BFG)

Business Financial Group (BFG) is a U.S.-based tax, accounting, payroll, and advisory firm serving small business clients across the United States. We are building a network of experienced Subject Matter Experts in India to support specialized client projects on a flexible consulting basis.

Position Summary

BFG is seeking experienced professionals with expertise in U.S. tax, accounting, payroll, financial reporting, forecasting, and advisory services. Selected experts will join BFG’s approved expert network and may be assigned project-based, part-time, or consulting engagements based on expertise and availability.

This is primarily an internal technical support role and not a traditional full-time position.

Areas of Expertise
U.S. Tax
  • Form 1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120
  • Partnership, S Corp, and C Corp taxation
  • Tax planning and entity structuring
  • IRS notices and transcript analysis
  • Sales tax and payroll tax support
Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • QuickBooks Online/Xero cleanup
  • Reconciliations and month-end close
  • Financial statement review
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Controller-level review
Payroll
  • Payroll setup and compliance
  • W-2 and 1099 support
  • Payroll reconciliations
Advisory & CFO Support
  • Financial forecasting
  • Cash flow modeling
  • Budgeting and KPI reporting
  • Business planning and profitability analysis
Key Responsibilities
  • Review tax, accounting, and financial documents
  • Prepare or review workpapers and reconciliations
  • Support BFG’s internal delivery team
  • Identify risks, errors, and corrective actions
  • Deliver work within agreed timelines
  • Maintain confidentiality and documentation standards

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Experience in U.S. tax, accounting, payroll, or advisory work
  • Strong technical expertise in at least one specialization
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to sign NDA and contractor agreements
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, EA, CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or similar
  • Experience with U.S. CPA firms or outsourcing firms
  • Experience with U.S. small business clients
  • Prior review or advisory experience
