About Healthleap

Every day, millions of hospitalized patients who need intervention are missed because clinicians simply can't see everything. HealthLeap is building the AI operating system that helps care teams identify these missed patients, enabling them to improve health outcomes and generate millions of dollars. HealthLeap is changing what is possible: closing gaps that traditional workflows and clinician capacity could never.

Over the past year, we've grown contracted revenue more than 13x, expanded rapidly across leading health systems, and now help care teams identify patients across millions of inpatient encounters.

We're ~25 people. >$32M raised. SF-based, hybrid-friendly. And, we're delivering results that are changing lives.

Why This Role Exists

Enterprise marketing is changing quickly.

AI is making research, content creation, personalization, analysis, and execution dramatically cheaper. We think that creates an opportunity to rethink how an enterprise marketing function should work from the ground up, especially in a market like healthcare where a relatively small number of complex accounts matter disproportionately.

HealthLeap sells to some of the largest health systems in the country. Winning those accounts requires understanding how each organization works, identifying the people and priorities that matter, creating conviction across multiple stakeholders, and giving our sales team the evidence and tools to move complex deals forward.

We are looking for a high agency marketer to help build that system.

You will work closely with sales, customers, product, and the leadership team. You will start hands-on, experiment aggressively, and turn what works into repeatable systems. We want you using AI and automation wherever they increase leverage, while spending your own time on the judgment, creativity, customer understanding, and strategic thinking that matter most.

There is no mature enterprise marketing playbook to inherit. You’ll have significant latitude to help define how this part of the function should work.

What You Will Do

Build exceptional account intelligence
  • Develop a deep, continuously improving understanding of the health systems we most want to work with.

  • Map buying committees, executive priorities, organizational structure, strategic initiatives, existing technology, relationships, and relevant signals such as leadership changes, financial pressure, capacity constraints, quality initiatives, or new clinical priorities.

  • Turn that intelligence into something the commercial team can use to decide where to focus, whom to engage, and how to approach each account.

Design account-specific strategies to create demand and move deals
  • Treat our most important health systems as individual markets.

  • For each account, determine what is most likely to create engagement, build credibility, or advance a deal. That might include highly personalized outreach, executive content, customer introductions, digital campaigns, webinars, targeted events, direct mail, landing pages, thought leadership, or something entirely new.

  • You will have latitude to choose the intervention based on the problem rather than execute a predetermined channel calendar.

Make our high-performing sales team materially better
  • Build the information, narratives, proof, and tools that help our commercial team perform at a higher level throughout the sales process.

  • That could include account pre-reads, presentations, one-pagers, ROI models, competitive intelligence, discovery frameworks, executive meeting preparation, proposals, follow-up materials, or AI-powered tools that allow sellers to generate better account-specific materials themselves.

  • The standard is simple: does your work meaningfully increase our ability to win?

Turn customer outcomes into a compounding evidence engine
  • Some of our most valuable marketing inputs already exist inside customer implementations, clinical outcomes, sales conversations, and the knowledge of our team.

  • Build a system for capturing that information and turning it into compelling proof.

  • You might create case studies, customer stories, outcome narratives, executive content, webinars, research, proof points, or new formats entirely. More importantly, you will make sure that what we learn from one health system improves how we engage the next one.

Help build an AI-native marketing operating system
  • We do not want to layer AI onto a legacy marketing process. We want to design the process assuming modern AI tools exist.

  • Experiment with ways to automate account research, synthesize customer and market information, identify signals across accounts, personalize materials, interrogate GTM data, generate first drafts, and build lightweight internal tools or agents.

  • You should constantly be asking: What becomes possible when the cost of research or production approaches zero?

  • You do not need to arrive with all of the answers. We want someone excited to discover them.

Build the infrastructure that makes the function scale
  • As you learn what works, turn it into systems. That may include CRM and marketing automation workflows, account segmentation, dashboards, attribution, lead routing, reusable templates, data infrastructure, and reporting that helps us understand where marketing is changing commercial outcomes.

  • You will also contribute to adjacent growth priorities when they matter, including partner marketing, customer expansion, website conversion, selective communications and PR, and event programming.

  • We have dedicated ownership of event execution. Your role is to help determine the audience, message, content, and follow-through that make those moments commercially valuable.

What Success Could Look Like

Within your first year, we would expect you to have:

  • Built a clear, usable system for understanding and prioritizing our most important health system accounts.

  • Changed how our sales team prepares for and advances complex enterprise opportunities.

  • Created several account-based plays that reliably generate engagement or accelerate deals.

  • Built a stronger system for turning customer outcomes and insights into reusable commercial proof.

  • Developed AI-enabled workflows that meaningfully reduce manual marketing work or create capabilities we previously could not have supported.

  • Established the measurement and operating infrastructure needed to understand what is working.

  • Helped shape how HealthLeap’s enterprise marketing function should evolve as the company grows.

Who Will Thrive Here
  • You are commercially minded. You care about pipeline and revenue, and you want to understand whether your work actually changes the outcome of a deal.

  • You enjoy getting close to customers and sales. You want to understand the organization, the buyer, and the problem deeply enough to form your own view about what will work.

  • You are highly hands-on. You can move from strategy to execution without waiting for a large team. On any given day, you might interview a customer, write an executive narrative, analyze account data, build an AI workflow, improve a sales deck, or design an experiment.

  • You are curious about how AI changes your own profession. You are already experimenting with new tools, or you are excited by the idea of rebuilding workflows as the underlying technology improves.

  • You have strong judgment and taste. When producing ten versions of something becomes easy, deciding what is worth making becomes more important.

  • Your background might include enterprise ABM, product marketing, sales enablement, field marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, or another commercially oriented marketing role. We care more about how you think and what you have built than whether your previous title perfectly matches this one.

Nice To Have

  • 5 years of experience with U.S. health system clinical, financial, technology, or nutrition leaders

  • Healthcare context, including legal review, customer permissioning, and buying committees

  • Built a champion enablement library before

  • Background in clinical operations or quality improvement
