Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job Description
On-SEM-Site Supplier Quality Engineer providing a collaborative environment for SEM including:

  • Collaborate with production supervisors and workers for real-time inspection and verification points during processing.
  • Drive closure with AIS stakeholders when questions arise during assembly
  • Verify worker compliance with manufacturing procedures
  • Monitor reaction plans when product is found non-compliant (rework plan, MRB, etc.)
  • Lead quality product training with operators
  • Evaluate process for optimization, i.e. mistake proofing, variation tracking, task efficiencies
  • Engage with SEM Process and SEM Quality Engineers with CAPA reports
  • Oversee SEM RMA process for customer returns
  • Maintain RMA Tracking Log
  • Monitor RMA TAT metric
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, quality training acceptable
  • Minimum of 6 years hands-on with product quality control within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with Quality Management System (Ex. ISO-9001, etc.)
  • Effective root cause analysis skills
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to details
  • IPC-A-610 CIS
