The Program Manager will oversee the Supplier Health & Readiness initiative, collaborating with various departments and managing project execution and reporting to executives.
The Supply Chain, Quality & Reliability (SCQR) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our supply chain management-related activities across the organization. In this role, you will own the Supplier Health & Readiness initiative at Zoox, functioning as the overall program manager as well as key liaison between strategic sourcing, supplier quality and industrialization, vehicle and advanced hardware engineering, manufacturing and logistics. You will collaborate closely with all of these key internal stakeholders and drive overall readiness reporting to executive management.
You will also work closely with the core Program Management Organization and Vehicle Program Management teams to ensure wide visibility and communication for overall Supplier Health & Readiness, applying project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of our business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Drive overall Supplier Health & Readiness initiative at Zoox.
- Deliver regular status and issue updates on overall supply chain readiness to executive management, including highlighting potential risks and outlining proposed solutions and mitigating steps.
- Define, implement, and drive execution of overall Supplier Health & Readiness requirements, workflows, and plans to key program timelines.
- Develop and maintain tools and dashboards to track and depict key elements of status and to communicate key project metrics to the broader organization including Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance.
- Track, identify, and highlight potential program risks generating from overall Supplier Health & Readiness activities in a timely manner.
- Analyze the complete supply chain for the project by defining and measuring performance criteria (milestone adherence, sourcing progress, cost savings opportunities, operational efficiency, etc.) to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment or other evidence of exceptional ability (experience working in a hardware supply chain and/or manufacturing environment is preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present effectively to teams and executive management.
- Demonstrated, applied experience delivering complex programs and projects.
- Excellent analytical skills including advanced Excel (e.g. macros, VBA) (knowledge of SQL (mySQL, Postgres, etc.) is preferred).
- Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem-solve.
