The Role

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales team based in Singapore, with regional responsibilities. This is a senior leadership role with primary responsibility for driving revenue growth from our institutional client base. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with an established network and a demonstrable track record of successfully onboarding institutional customers to DBS Digital Exchange, building out our institutional franchise, cross-selling our full suite of products to top-tier institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of institutional sales professionals. Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key decision-makers at institutional clients, including traditional financial institutions and also crypto native firms.

- Liquidity management: To plan and manage liquidity for the DBS Digital Exchange’s trading needs, to ensure best execution for customers 24/7.

- Customer base management: To build out a sustainable, regional, client base for DBS’s Digital Asset Ecosystem

- Cross-Selling: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell the firm’s broader digital asset product suite, including trading, custody, derivatives, security tokens.

- Market Intelligence: Serve as the voice of the client internally, providing critical feedback to our internal digital asset teams on market trends, client sentiment, and competitive landscape.

- Revenue Accountability: Be directly accountable for the P&L of the institutional sales desk regionally, managing client revenue and ensuring profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

- At least 10 years of experience in institutional sales within the digital asset space, preferably with an established network within the broker space and in North Asian clients

- A demonstrable and extensive black book of existing relationships with key institutional clients (Global Long-Only, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers) is essential.

- Proven track record in distributing ECM deals and a deep understanding of equity capital markets.

- Strong leadership experience with a history of successfully managing, developing, and inspiring a sales team.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas with conviction.

- In-depth knowledge of equity products and financial markets.

- Results-driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Experience with structured products, bonds, and derivatives is a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or CFA charterholder is a plus.
