About this opportunity:
We are seeking a talented **Call Processing Engineer** for our iPECS Cloud Telephony Platform, a cutting-edge IP Telephony system powering enterprise-grade unified communications. In this role, you will architect and implement sophisticated call signaling and media processing features in a scalable, multi-tenant cloud environment, ensuring seamless, high-availability voice services for global customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop core call processing functionalities leveraging SIP protocols within the iPECS Cloud platform.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of network communications, including packet captures and protocol traces, to optimize signaling and media flows.
• Evaluate existing software architecture to design and deploy advanced call features, such as call transfers, conferencing, queuing, and multi-party sessions.
• Provide expert technical support by diagnosing and resolving customer issues through log analysis, root-cause identification, and rapid solution deployment.
• Integrate with external ecosystems via RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven services (e.g., UC platforms, CRM, recording, and billing systems).
• Enhance system performance through refactoring, optimization, and rigorous quality assurance at production scale.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Entry-level (new graduate) or 2-3 years of hands-on experience in relevant domains, such as VoIP or network software development.
• Proficiency in C or C++ for high-performance, server-side and real-time programming.
• Proven experience developing and debugging in Linux/Unix environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, NAT traversal, and QoS mechanisms.
