About This Opportunity:
We are seeking a software developer to contribute to Packet Core product development at Packet Core Dev Korea. Your role will include all development activities listed here, or in some cases, you may focus more on certain areas such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design and implementation, integration, and verification. As a software developer, you would be part of a feature development team or work together with feature development teams in a common role.
Responsibilities and What You Will Do:
  • 5G/4G Packet Core product development.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C/C++ or other relevant programming languages, depending on the requirements
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality software
  • Working as a multi-functional player consisting of multiple roles, including System Management, Software Design, Function Test, System Test, and Design Architect if required.
  • Collaborate with several stakeholders depending on the situation and demand smoothly.
  • Drive and execute continuous improvements of products and processes.
  • Develop and cultivate competence in the technical domain.
  • Propose and drive quality improvements.
  • Identify opportunities and support innovation initiatives in the technical area

Qualifications and Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related majors
  • Preference will be given to candidates with development experience in the Packet Core domain and Agile development
  • Knowledge on 3GPP standards, 5G architecture, Packet Core products and solutions, cloud-native technologies and architectures, and related Internet protocols
  • Solid programming skills in C/C++ and Linux environment
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving and target-oriented mindset
  • Well understanding of the organization's strategic direction and objectives
  • Good knowledge sharing, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
