- Leads Ground and System Level verification, validation, integration and test
- Leads the planning, organization, implementation of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity and technology readiness
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, and develop requirements
- Develops and executes test plans, procedures, and verification reports
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
- Performs various analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture supporting mission success
- Writes requirements and ICDs for the ground systems
- Supports ConOps development and product design, development, and test
- Develops Ground Segment Operational Products in support of Space based systems
- Supports complex system level threads required to run missions in space
- Works with a team of engineers using scaled agile development process
- Engages in model-based systems engineering
- Leads, mentors, and trains others

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience
