Role Overview

Orbital are hiring for a Talent Partner who will have a broad focus on hardware and engineering recruiting within the company throughout our North American sites. This role centres around the delivery of outstanding technical talent whilst building scalable recruiting processes that facilitate future growth of the technology function.

The role combines the development of Talent strategy across Orbital's key domains and a delivery within those verticals. An extensive level of in-house recruiting experience is required to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Recruiting

  • Lead end-to-end recruiting processes across complex hardware and engineering focused environments

  • Understanding what sets the bar of an elite engineer and maintain Orbital’s high standard of hiring

  • Ability to attract and engage top 1% technical talent in the US, Canada and beyond

Stakeholder Management

  • Relationship building with senior stakeholders including C-suite, Founders and Hiring Managers

  • Maintaining a world-class hiring manager and candidate experience

Talent Identification

  • Creation of Talent strategies that target graduates at all levels (BSc, MSc, PhD) and build partnerships that facilitate long term, technical growth

  • Build engaged communities interested in Orbital

Talent Initiatives

  • Regularly contributing to Talent focused initiatives both within and outside of the technical team

  • Process optimisation with an emphasis on the end-to-end journey of Orbital’s new employees, including recruiting, pre-boarding and onboarding

  • Enhancing DEI strategy and various other company-wide initiatives
