US Talent Acquisition Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the company's overall Talent Acquisition function by working closely with HR Business Partner (HRBPs) and hiring managers in identifying and engaging top talent for ABB. Each day, you will be primarily responsible to source, attract, and pre-screen candidates. You will also showcase your expertise by providing a pipeline of qualified candidates for the Talent Acquisition team.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/onsite

This role is contributing to the US Talent Acquisition team in support of the US Automation divisions. This includes but is not limited to Process Industries and Marine & Ports.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and ideal candidate profiles and developing and executing effective sourcing strategies using a variety of channels, such as job boards, social media, networking, and other creative methods.
  • Utilizing various sourcing tools and techniques to identify potential candidates; building and maintaining a talent pool of passive and active candidates for current and future hiring needs; and providing insights and recommendations to recruiters and hiring managers based on market research.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or other relevant databases.
  • Tracking and reporting on sourcing metrics, such as the number of sourced candidates, response rates, and conversion rates.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with at 4+years’ professional HR experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a talent sourcer, recruitment coordinator, sales representative, or related role
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media.
  • Comfort with communicating with varying experience levels 
  • Knowledge in MS Office, eRecruit, LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday
  • Time-management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
