Requirements & Technical Analysis:
- Analyze and document detailed technical and functional requirements for the FSM platform implementation, working closely with business stakeholders and the Solution Architect.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, configuration workbooks, user stories, and functional design documents.
- Conduct gap analysis between out-of-the-box FSM platform capabilities and client-specific business requirements.
- Support development of solution design documents, data mapping specifications, and integration requirements.
- Support configuration of the FSM platform (e.g., scheduling rules, work order types, service territories, mobile workflows, dispatch logic) based on approved designs.
- Partner with Product Developers and Product Solution Architects to validate that technical builds align with documented requirements and architecture standards.
- Assist in designing and validating system integrations with adjacent platforms (GIS, OMS, ERP, CRM, IoT/telemetry).
- Support data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate FSM platform functionality against business requirements.
- Lead or support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing cycles.
- Log, track, and manage defects through resolution, working with Product Developers to prioritize and validate fixes.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, configuration/build, and test coverage.
- Work closely with the Technical Project Manager to provide status updates, flag risks/issues, and support project planning and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect and Product Solution Architects to ensure technical solutions align with overall architecture and scalability requirements.
- Partner with Product Developers to clarify requirements, review technical builds, and troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Support business analysts and end users during design workshops, walkthroughs, and training sessions as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, configuration guides, and runbooks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support development of training materials and knowledge transfer documentation for client teams.
- Contribute to lessons-learned sessions and continuous improvement of implementation methodology and reusable assets.
- Support cutover planning, deployment activities, and go-live readiness assessments.
- Provide hypercare support post go-live, triaging and resolving technical issues in collaboration with the delivery team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar technical delivery role within enterprise software implementations.
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Field Service Management (FSM) or workforce management platforms (e.g., Salesforce Field Service, ServiceMax, IFS Field Service Management, Oracle Field Service Cloud, ClickSoftware).
- Experience within the utilities industry (electric, gas, water) is strongly preferred, particularly with field operations, mobile workforce, or asset management systems.
- Proven experience working on full implementation lifecycles: requirements gathering, design, configuration/build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Experience working in a consulting or systems integrator environment supporting client-facing delivery engagements.
- Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, middleware, data mapping/ETL) relevant to utilities technology ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall).
- Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline and testing rigor.
- Ability to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirements.
- Relevant FSM platform certifications (e.g., Salesforce Field Service Consultant/Administrator, ServiceMax certification).
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar business/technical analysis certification.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification (a plus, given field service and incident/change management overlap).
