Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Requirements Discovery: Work with Business, Product and Development teams to gather, analyze, and draft comprehensive requirements for the Adobe Commerce platform dev teams
  • Bridge Business & Tech: Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that developers can execute on
  • Solution Validation: Collaborate with developers to define/review detailed designs and ensure proposed technical solutions align with business needs and Magento native capabilities; this may include technical hands-on for proof of concept/pilot solutions
  • Quality Assurance & UAT: Define testing criteria, support QA in test case creation, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful product launches
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing e-commerce workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements or automation strategies
  • Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior analysts, fostering best practices in documentation and requirements management

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience with a strong focus on enterprise e-commerce systems (Adobe Commerce/Magento experience is mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, scaled agile environment

Skills and Qualifications
  • Platform Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Adobe Commerce/Magento (B2B & B2C), including catalog management, cart and checkout flows
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to read/understand API documentation (REST/GraphQL) and basic SQL to communicate effectively with engineers and architects
  • Tools Proficiency: Expert-level skill in Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation; familiarity with GitLab workflows is a plus
  • Analytical Modeling: Proficiency in creating process maps, data flow diagrams, and wireframes to visualize complex requirements
    Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate scope and translate technical constraints into business terms

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
