The Technical Implementation Engineer role is primarily responsible for implementing and supporting Alkami’s software products. As a Technical Implementation Engineer, you will be a part of a small but growing team of talented people responsible for implementing a complex enterprise banking software solution in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial software experience, especially with core banking systems such as Symitar, Corelation, DNA CoreAPI, Fiserv Premier, FIS IBS, and many others, working directly with clients as well as internal project managers, product owners, and development resources. The candidate should be knowledgeable of core conversions and how to handle complex data issues.
The environment is .NET with a SQL and Postgres back-end, and each project requires integration with third party vendors including proprietary credit union and bank host systems. Relationship building is an important aspect of the position, where the individual will focus on securing strong professional relationships with clients. In addition, the individual will provide technical leadership and project coordination.
Successful candidates must have a strong sense of urgency and ownership to drive technical challenges to completion working collaboratively with both internal and client facing technical resources. The ideal candidate will keep up to date with technology, and suggest ways to incorporate new products and policies to help to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Install, configure, customize and resolve all technical issues related to the ORB platform

  • Identify technical challenges and provide recommendations for improvement, focusing on client satisfaction and efficiency

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues

  • Assists in mentoring junior level team members

  • Go-to person for a wide range of problem complexities and areas

  • Ability to solve most high level problems independently

  • Solid understanding of core banking systems

  • Ability to handle core conversions

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years T-SQL Experience

  • 0-1+ years .NET Framework, C#

  • 0-1+ years ASP.NET MVC 3/4/5

  • 1-2+ years general development experience

  • 1-2 years experience with banking cores (Fiserv, FIS or Jack Henry)

Desired Skills:

  • Powershell or other scripting language experience

  • Previous experience in implementing systems with a focus on scalability and high-availability

  • Core Banking System or Treasury management knowledge

  • Familiarity with check deposits

The salary range for this position is: $68,000 - $81,120Cool Things to Know
