Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Spotify, we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.
At Revivn, we're helping organizations securely and sustainably manage their technology lifecycle. We're looking for a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead a team of IT Technicians responsible for device processing, including data sanitization, functional testing, grading, and repairs.
This role combines people leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence. You'll be responsible for driving quality, productivity, and accountability across the technical workflow while developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and using data to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
We may be looking for you if:
- You're an experienced people leader who excels at building and developing high-performing technical teams.
- You have hands-on experience with device processing, including data wiping, diagnostics, grading, and hardware repairs.
- You thrive in operational environments where quality, efficiency, and accuracy matter.
- You're comfortable analyzing metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements.
- You create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- You're a proactive problem solver who can balance day-to-day execution with longer-term operational initiatives.
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and partnering with teams across the operation to improve workflow and customer outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT Technicians responsible for data sanitization, device testing, grading, and repair activities.
- Ensure devices are processed accurately, securely, and in accordance with company quality standards and client requirements.
- Monitor team performance through key operational metrics, including productivity, quality, turnaround time, and rework rates.
- Analyze workflow data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for technical processing activities.
- Drive accountability through regular performance management, coaching, and feedback.
- Partner closely with Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient movement of assets through the facility.
- Support implementation of new tools, systems, and processes that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex device issues and provide technical guidance to team members when needed.
- Maintain compliance with data security, safety, and operational standards.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a technical operations, IT asset disposition (ITAD), electronics refurbishment, repair, or related environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with device diagnostics, data wiping, grading, refurbishment, or hardware repair.
- Strong understanding of data sanitization processes and industry best practices.
- Experience managing productivity, quality, and operational KPIs.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Experience creating and improving operational processes and workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, workflow tools, or ERP/WMS platforms is a plus.
