Bitwave is an enterprise software company with the mission of bringing digital assets to enterprises.

Our platform and solutions
We’ve built an enterprise software platform that enables enterprises to meet their digital asset/cryptocurrency-specific accounting, tax, treasury, and management obligations. Our platform is a subledger processing millions of digital asset transactions and producing accounting and tax reporting that integrate with our clients’ ERP systems. We also deliver solutions that leverage our platform’s diverse capabilities for different client use cases. Our platform and solutions are delivered to more than 200 clients today.

Desired Experiences
We are looking for a candidate that uniquely combines:
(a) Functional Expertise
(b) Product Management Expertise
(c) Enterprise (B2B) Software Experience
(d) Digital Asset Experience

Functional Expertise (Data Product Management)

  • Experience with a variety of data sources (e.g., blockchains, exchanges, data warehouses, ERPs, IBOR/ABOR, etc.) and architectures
  • Experience across the finance function or within key finance functional areas: accounting, tax, treasury, AP, finance systems, data

Responsibilities

  • Drive expansion of existing and identification of new use cases for platform data. Ensure data availability, consistency, and performance/latency SLAs.
  • Expand design of advanced data processing and data warehouse capabilities and plan/coordinate integrations with other product teams.
  • Drive expansion of reporting tooling and architecture
  • Define and design in-app reports applicable to all functions within the finance organization
  • Continual optimization of cloud costs
  • Work with business development to execute on data-product-related partnerships

Product Management

  • Significant experience owning a product or portion of one, including the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch
  • Proven success coordinating between engineers, designers, architects, and users
  • Experience building and communicating roadmaps
  • Familiarity with methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tooling (e.g., Jira)
  • Experience supporting product marketing and release planning
  • Ability to incorporate customer feedback into product development

Enterprise Software

  • Strong experience with B2B product management activities
  • Experience with ERPs or other finance systems (Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) a plus
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS a plus

Digital Asset

  • You must be knowledgeable of digital assets. You will be expected to be an expert on digital asset transactions, nodes, and various blockchain architectures (PoS, PoW, UTXO, etc).

Other Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Design, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • Startup experience and success required
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and cross-functional execution
