About Us
At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.
We are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $200 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and Andreessen Horowitz with support from General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get things done with urgency and focus.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly hands-on and technical Product Manager for our Fraud team to lead the building, unification, and aggressive scaling of our next-generation risk platform. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical depth, platform-level strategic thinking, and a resourceful, bias-for-action mindset to drive fraud prevention initiatives that uphold our customer obsession while enabling business growth. You will be a doer, not just a delegator, working closely with engineering to build sophisticated systems while owning critical business metrics. This is a role for a builder who thrives on extreme ownership in a high-growth, ambiguous environment.
Responsibilities
- Define & Execute Risk & Fraud Product Strategy – Work with Risk leadership to develop and own the Risk Product roadmap, focusing on unifying disparate fraud domains into a single, scalable platform for detection, prevention, and other risk management capabilities. This requires a platform-first, reusable component mindset.
- Hands-On Data Analysis & Experimentation – Own fraud metrics and have a hands-on relationship with the data. You must be able to navigate complex dashboards, run simple to medium-complexity SQL queries to validate initial hypotheses, and work with Risk Data Analysts and Data Scientists. You will be responsible for designing, setting up, and interpreting non-trivial A/B tests to ensure statistically valid and impactful outcomes.
- Fraud Detection & Prevention –. Partner directly with engineering teams to design, build, and deploy advanced real-time fraud detection models, identity verification, and transaction monitoring systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Data Scientists, Risk Analysts, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to develop scalable solutions.
- Optimize Customer Experience – Balance optimum customer experiences with effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management – Communicate Risk, Product strategies, and impact to executive leadership, legal teams, and external partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on risk, fraud, payments, or trust & safety, ideally in a fast-paced startup or growth environment where you were a primary builder.
- Proven technical fluency & resourcefulness – ability to work with engineering teams on API-based fraud prevention solutions, demonstrated ability to run simple SQL queries, and a clear understanding of data pipelines and system resilience (e.g., timeouts, service dependencies).
- Deep understanding of fraud prevention techniques (e.g., device fingerprinting, behavioral analytics, transaction monitoring) or a track record of rapidly acquiring deep domain knowledge in a new technical area.
- Experience working with machine learning models and the ability to analyze fraud metrics, trends, and risk signals to drive product improvements.
- Experience working with fraud & risk tools (e.g., Riskified, Sardine, etc).
- Strong ownership and a bias towards action; we need a builder willing to take on significant individual contributor work.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with legal, compliance, and exec teams.
- Passion for fintech and digital finance innovation.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
