Interested in working on cutting-edge blockchain technology and creating equitable access to the global financial system? Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

As a product marketing manager at SDF, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing world-class blockchain infrastructure to market. You’ll lead the launch of new network innovations, crafting compelling narratives and go-to-market strategies that span the tooling and capabilities that support on-chain financial markets. From defining positioning and messaging to coordinating cross-functional execution, you'll ensure each launch is strategically sound and differentiated.

Sitting at the intersection of developer tooling, ecosystem builders, and the core network innovations, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and ecosystem teams to articulate the value of our offerings to both builders and institutional stakeholders alike. Your work will help bridge the worlds of on-chain and traditional finance — translating complex architecture into meaningful business outcomes while keeping messaging sharp, credible, and ahead of industry trends.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate the value proposition for a technical audience: Stellar is a network meant to benefit builders and entrepreneurs around the world who want to innovate on everyday financial use cases. But they need to understand the magic of the stellar tech stack and the benefits and tradeoffs required to build on Stellar.

  • Own and execute launches: Lead the GTM strategy and execution across verticals. Define launch strategy, align internal stakeholders, craft positioning, and execute coordinated cross-functional campaigns with measurable impact across adoption, awareness, and engagement

  • Craft resonant messaging: Develop and refine messaging, naming, and positioning frameworks tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and ecosystem teams to translate complex technical features into clear, business-focused value propositions.

  • Market intelligence: Continuously synthesize user, market, and competitive insights to inform positioning and strategic decisions. Monitor trends in crypto, fintech, and enterprise infrastructure to keep messaging relevant and differentiated.

  • Produce high-impact content: Create clear, persuasive enablement assets—from pitch decks to product one-pagers—and collaborate with the MarComm team to turn launches into compelling stories that resonate with developers, issuers, and institutional partners.

You have:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in infrastructure, Web3, or a technical field

  • Proven experience owning go-to-market strategy and execution across multiple products or lines of business

  • Strong messaging and positioning skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions

Bonus Points if:

  • Experience working with or marketing to traditional financial institutions or capital markets

  • Familiarity with the blockchain ecosystem, including key players, protocols, and technical trends
