About the Role
This is a high-visibility role designed for a proactive problem-solver who is as comfortable discussing technical stacks as they are mapping out business processes.
You will contribute to fast-paced, cross-functional projects-ranging from software product lifecycles to major enterprise system implementations (like Workday or ERP). This role provides a 360-degree view of how a global technology leader delivers scale, security, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance: Partner across Engineering, Product, and Enterprise Systems to define project scope and align resources. You will act as a bridge between teams to ensure technical delivery meets our high standards for security, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Program Planning & Execution: Assist in the end-to-end lifecycle of technical initiatives. You will track progress, manage critical path dependencies, and help drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • AI-Driven Innovation: Leverage AI and automation tooling to improve work planning, analyze program risks, and identify efficiencies in how we deliver on business commitments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Learn to communicate effectively across all levels. You will assist in translating high-level business goals into structured roadmaps and help "grok" complex data into clear status reports, narratives, and presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and propose automated or streamlined solutions to enhance team productivity.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Work closely with a mentor TPgM or IT Business Partner to shadow complex programs, receive feedback, and build a foundation for a career in Program Management.
Role Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills. You can distill complex technical updates into clear narratives for diverse audiences, ranging from engineering pods to executive leadership.
  • Technical Curiosity: A genuine passion for understanding technical stacks and how complex enterprise systems (ERP, Salesforce, etc.) integrate to drive business value.
  • Dynamic Adaptability: Highly coachable with a commitment to continuous growth. You embrace the fast-paced nature of technical programs, showing a readiness to iterate on processes and refine your approach based on stakeholder feedback and real-world results.
  • Availability: Ability to commit to a minimum 12-week summer internship, with a physical presence in the office 3-5 days a week.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
  • Analytical Tooling: Proficiency in data visualization, automation tools, or utilizing AI to solve organizational problems.
  • Technical Foundations: Experience with software development or an understanding of the lifecycle of large-scale enterprise system implementations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable summaries and executive-level presentations.
  • Prior Exposure: Experience with Cloudflare products or previous internships involving cross-functional program coordination.
