📍 San Francisco | 🚀 Stealth Startup | Video AI | 🏢 5 Days Onsite

We’re a startup at the intersection of video AI and social media, with experienced serial entrepreneurs, a world-class team, and strong financial backing. We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to improve how product and engineering plan, coordinate, and deliver.

What you will do

  • Lead cross-functional technical programs from initial definition through launch and follow-up. Define scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.

  • Build lightweight internal tools, scripts, bots, integrations, and scheduled agent workflows using AI coding or no-code tools.

  • Improve shared planning and launch readiness across product and engineering.

  • Evaluate developer workflow tools through structured pilots. Track adoption, cost, feedback, and impact, then recommend whether to expand, revise, or stop each pilot.

  • Improve bug intake, triage, routing, prioritization, and closure.

  • Keep decisions, risks, and open questions visible. Publish concise updates with clear owners and next steps.

  • Improve how teams use Linear, GitHub, Slack, and shared documentation so current context is easy to find.

  • Identify recurring bottlenecks and implement changes that reduce coordination work as the company grows.

What success looks like
  • Cross-team programs have fewer late surprises because risks and dependencies surface early.

  • Teams can find current priorities, decisions, and owners without reconstructing context.

  • Repetitive coordination work is simplified or automated.

  • Tooling and workflow changes are adopted and produce measurable gains in speed, reliability, or developer experience.

What we are looking for
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in technical program management, program or project management, technical operations, consulting, or a similar cross-functional role.

  • Experience independently leading work across multiple teams with unclear requirements and technical dependencies.

  • Technical fluency with the software development lifecycle. You should be comfortable reading pull request discussions, understanding bug reports, navigating GitHub, and following conversations about APIs, deployments, and technical tradeoffs.

  • Ability to ask precise questions and communicate technical context accurately to product, engineering, and business partners.

  • Strong written communication and good judgment about what to document, share, escalate, or resolve directly.

  • Experience influencing decisions and driving follow-through without formal authority.

  • Ability to build or modify simple automations using AI coding or no-code tools, or evidence that you have learned comparable technical tools quickly.

  • Ability to work from our San Francisco office five days per week.

Nice to have
  • Experience at an early-stage startup or in another fast-growing environment.

  • Hands-on experience building automations with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools, especially in terminal-based workflows.

  • Familiarity with developer productivity metrics and their limitations.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts such as IAM, service ownership, and deployment coordination.

  • Experience with video creation, video editing, creator tools, or social media products.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Company-paid health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with a 5% company match

  • Paid parental leave

  • Commuter benefits, including a free Caltrain pass

  • Unlimited vacation

  • Life and disability insurance

  • Cell phone service reimbursement

  • Free daily office lunch

  • Visa sponsorship and immigration support

  • Green card sponsorship beginning on day one for eligible employees

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 per year. The final offer will reflect the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role.

This position is also eligible for equity and the benefits described above. The range reflects the level and responsibilities in this posting. If we consider a candidate for a different level, we will share the corresponding responsibilities and salary range before continuing the interview process.

Equal opportunity

We are an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to any characteristic protected by applicable law. We provide reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
