About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

Brokerage sits at the heart of Robinhood, powering how millions of customers invest and interact with financial products. The Brokerage Technical Program Management team is small and collaborative, and it works side by side with senior engineers, engineering managers, product leaders, and Brokerage leadership on complex technical and execution challenges. We partner closely with design, customer experience, and operations teams to bring ambitious work to life. The team is still shaping how it plans, executes, launches, and uses AI, so there’s real room to build the playbook rather than inherit one!

As a Technical Program Manager on Brokerage, you’ll own and drive cross-functional engineering programs from kickoff through launch. You’ll keep plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies clear and visible, and you’ll turn complex technical work into crisp updates for leadership and partner teams. The mix of programs will flex with company priorities, and you’ll be trusted with real ownership early on. You’ll also have the chance to rethink traditional TPM workflows with AI, from planning to launch readiness. Expect close mentorship and a clear runway to grow your career here!

This role is based in our New York, NY OR Menlo Park, CA offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

  • Own program plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies, and keep them visible to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with product, design, customer experience, operations, and engineering partners
  • Write clear narratives, status updates, and communications for leadership and partner teams
  • Spot gaps and unblock work so programs keep moving with minimal oversight
  • Help shape how the Brokerage TPM team plans, executes, and launches, including how it uses AI to improve planning, dependency management, risk detection, launch readiness, and reporting
What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role, driving complex cross-functional engineering programs
  • Strong grasp of system design, with the ability to follow and contribute to engineering conversations (no coding required)
  • Working familiarity with AWS and core infrastructure concepts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including concise narratives and executive-ready updates that translate complex technical work
  • Strong ownership of outcomes, with the initiative to identify next steps, close gaps, and resolve blockers without waiting to be asked
  • A proven record of running programs with minimal oversight and following through on commitments until problems are resolved
  • Comfort stepping outside a narrowly defined scope when the program needs it
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to create structure and clarity across complex, multi-team programs without adding unnecessary process
  • Curiosity and excitement about using AI as part of how you work
What we offer
  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career
  • Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching
