We're a small team serving thousands of users. All customers have come inbound: people encounter Blockit in email or Slack threads, adopt it, and spread it to their teams. We're keeping the team tight — but hiring a few exceptional people as we scale.
RoleWe're looking for an Engineering Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for technical roles. You'll partner with engineering leadership to shape roles, source candidates directly, and manage agency relationships. Your job is to make sure we hire exceptional engineers — quickly, and with a great candidate experience.
Day-to-DayPartner with engineering leads to define roles and nail down what great looks like for each hire
Source candidates directly — deploying creative strategies to find technical talent that's hard to reach
Run a rigorous interview process that sharply assesses skill, drive, and fit
Own the candidate lifecycle from first screen to signed offer — including complex negotiations
Manage external recruiting partners and hold them to our standards
Use data to find bottlenecks and continuously improve our hiring funnel
Ensure every candidate — hired or not — walks away with a great impression of Blockit
3+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally at fast-growing tech companies
Track record of sourcing and closing engineering hires
Strong grasp of technical skill sets and how engineering orgs work
Comfortable managing multiple searches across different disciplines
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools
Clear communicator who can manage stakeholders and keep things moving
You thrive in fast-paced environments — and actually enjoy the intensity of early-stage startups
You're ambitious and treat hard problems as puzzles to solve
You're curious — you want to understand how AI works and why scheduling is harder than it looks
