About the Role

Talent is Alchemy's greatest competitive advantage.

As a Technical Recruiter, you'll be responsible for identifying, attracting, and closing exceptional technical talent across the company. You'll partner directly with engineering and product leaders to understand business needs, develop recruiting strategies, and build high-performing teams capable of solving some of the most complex challenges in infrastructure, distributed systems, AI, and blockchain technology.

This is a highly strategic and visible role with significant impact on Alchemy's future. You'll help shape the technical organization, influence hiring decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the company.

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical functions, including Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Product Engineering, Security, Data, Product Management, Design, and Technical Operations.

  • Partner closely with engineering and product leaders to understand organizational priorities and develop hiring strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Build and manage high-quality candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, referrals, talent mapping, and community engagement.

  • Identify and engage exceptional passive candidates from top technology companies, startups, and research institutions.

  • Drive candidate engagement and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, interview design, and hiring best practices.

  • Partner with interviewers and hiring managers to maintain a high hiring bar while ensuring efficient and inclusive hiring processes.

  • Leverage recruiting data and funnel analytics to identify opportunities and improve hiring outcomes.

  • Help build scalable recruiting programs, interviewer training, assessment frameworks, and recruiting operations.

  • Champion Alchemy's culture and values throughout every stage of the recruiting process.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a high-growth technology company, executive search firm, or recruiting agency.

  • Demonstrated success hiring software engineers and technical talent across multiple levels, from early-career hires through senior and staff-level candidates.

  • Strong sourcing skills and a track record of engaging passive technical candidates in competitive talent markets.

  • Experience recruiting for highly technical domains such as infrastructure, distributed systems, backend engineering, machine learning, AI, security, developer tools, or platform engineering.

  • Ability to develop credibility and influence with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using recruiting metrics to drive decision-making.

  • High standards, strong ownership mentality, and relentless focus on outcomes.

Nice to Haves
  • Experience recruiting for developer infrastructure, cloud platforms, AI, fintech, crypto, or blockchain companies.

  • Experience hiring Staff+, Principal, and Engineering Leadership talent.

  • Familiarity with modern recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and talent intelligence platforms.

  • Experience supporting rapid company scaling from growth-stage to late-stage startup environments.

  • Passion for emerging technologies and building products that shape the future of the internet.
