The Timekeeping & Payroll Administrator is responsible for reviewing and maintaining employee timecards, auditing attendance records, tracking meal breaks, and assisting with payroll-related functions. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

    • Review, verify, and maintain employee timecards for accuracy.
    • Collect and audit employee time records, including regular hours, overtime, missed meal breaks, and attendance.
    • Coordinate with the Payroll Department to ensure accurate payroll processing.
    • Maintain confidential employee timekeeping records and documentation.
    • Identify and resolve timekeeping discrepancies by communicating with supervisors and employees.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and payroll procedures.
    • Meet payroll deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
    • Provide administrative support to the payroll team.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications
      • High school diploma or GED required.
      • Previous payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management experience preferred.
      • Experience in healthcare, EMS, transportation, or a 24/7 operation is a plus.
      • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficient with computer-based payroll/timekeeping systems.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
