As a Transaction Coordinator, you will join the Contract to Close team, which oversees all administrative details throughout the contract process, freeing agents to focus on building client relationships and growing their business. Our Transaction team members are experienced in real estate and serve as the first point of contact for all parties involved, ensuring a smooth path to settlement. From document preparation to deadline tracking to requesting online testimonials, your goal is to make life easier for agents and clients every step of the way. You will also work hand in hand with local lenders and title attorneys, bringing extensive experience and strong industry contacts to every contract you process.

Please note: This position will require you to be in the local office 2x per month.

At Compass, You Will:
  • Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements — averaging roughly 25-30 closings per month
  • Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and promptly, with a focus on the details
  • Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met
  • Navigate company systems to validate the accuracy of compliance and commission records
  • Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations
  • Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents
What We're Looking For: 
  • Real estate license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate laws in California and familiarity with standard real estate forms used in California (SFAR, PRDS, and Local Area Disclosures)
  • In-depth knowledge of Real Estate Transaction Coordination and Compliance 
  • DocuSign, Google Suite, CTM
  • Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of agents' contracts
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Customer service-oriented personality
  • Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $31.25 - $34.71/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
