Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud solutions for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance in the U.S. Healthcare domain.
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with a strong enterprise background and deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud-native applications. Experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain is highly desirable.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Lead the design and development of solutions using services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, especially in relation to HIPAA, HITRUST and U.S. Healthcare data.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve solution delivery and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Physically located in the US and authorized to work (without sponsorship)
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
- Extensive experience with AWS, including hands-on expertise with the following services:
- EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using CloudFormation or similar tools.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate with significant enterprise experience).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in U.S. Healthcare IT systems or working with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Experience with data analytics tools and pipelines within AWS (e.g., Quicksight, Glue).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, monitoring, containerization).
