Our Corporate Venture team, NexBreak Venture, is seeking a Growth Engineer Intern to ideate, validate, and launch AI-native products from concept to early traction, with a specific focus on engineering the growth mechanics that turn a prototype into a scalable business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This is a 0→1 builder position for someone who can code growth loops, instrument experiments, and drive measurable traction, not just recommend it.
  • Design, build, and ship technical growth mechanisms: acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, referral/viral loops, activation triggers, and monetization experiments.
  • Stand up lightweight analytics and experimentation infrastructure (tracking, A/B testing, cohort analysis) to measure what's working and iterate fast.
  • Rapidly prototype and test growth hypotheses across new AI products, then hand off winning mechanics to product teams.

Must have:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a top-tier university. MBA a plus, not required.
  • Strong, hands-on coding ability (able to build and ship, not just spec) — Python/SQL/JS or similar, plus familiarity with growth/analytics tooling.
  • 3+ years of experience in growth engineering, software engineering, or a technical product/growth/GTM/monetization role.
  • Founder's mindset, builder's mentality, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence — able to turn experiment data into a clear recommendation for decision-makers.

Bonus point:

  • Passion for innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, with a strong pulse on key trends, themes and players
Hourly Pay: $40- $60

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
