Role Overview

This is a hands-on growth role for someone who can both build the technical mechanics of growth and explain them clearly to the people who make decisions. You'll design and ship real growth loops yourself, not just recommend them, while also owning the budget, business case, and roadmap behind them. You'll be equally comfortable in the weeds of an experiment and in the room with a senior executive, brand partner, or client, translating a complex test, a cohort analysis, or a monetization result into a clear, compelling recommendation and securing buy-in to act on it. Strong technical execution matters, and so does your ability to build trust and alignment with non-technical, senior stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and ship technical growth mechanisms: acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, referral/viral loops, activation triggers, and monetization experiments.
  • Own and optimize acquisition budgets and channels, and define tracking specs and analytics events (attribution, pixels, A/B testing, cohort analysis) in partnership with engineering to measure what's working and iterate fast.
  • Rapidly prototype and test growth hypotheses across new AI products.
  • Build the business case for new growth bets, including market sizing, expansion opportunities, and go-to-market strategy, and present it clearly to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Translate growth experiments, data, and mechanics into clear, jargon-free narratives for senior executives and clients, turning technical results into recommendations they act on, and securing buy-in to move initiatives forward.
Must Have
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university. MBA a plus, not required.
  • Strong, hands-on coding ability (able to build and ship, not just spec), Python/SQL/JS or similar, plus familiarity with growth/analytics tooling (e.g., Looker, GA/Firebase, attribution and experimentation platforms).
  • 3+ years of experience in growth engineering, performance marketing, or a technical product/growth/GTM/monetization role, ideally including ownership of a budget or P&L.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with a proven ability to explain complex growth concepts clearly to senior executives and clients, secure their buy-in, and turn experiment data into a clear recommendation for decision-makers.
  • Founder's mindset, builder's mentality, and strong problem-solving skills, comfortable owning an initiative end-to-end, from strategy through execution.
Bonus Points
  • Passion for innovative technologies and artificial intelligence, with a strong pulse on key trends, themes, and players.
  • Founder, CEO, or general-management experience, having owned a product or business end-to-end, not just a single function.
  • Experience leading or mentoring cross-functional teams and presenting to clients, brand partners, or other external stakeholders.
  • Experience with international or multi-market growth and expansion strategy.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
