About Haize Labs

Today’s AI has a jagged intelligence surface. It is superhuman on well-defined benchmarks like the International Math Olympiad, but falls short in many real world domains.

Haize Labs brings superintelligence to the long tail of these domains through our agent foundry, which enables agent performance at parity with or better than domain experts.

Our agents are being deployed across many, many verticals. We are hiring a Vertical AI Lead to “own the P&L” of our agent deployments in each vertical. This role spans engineering (rapidly building AI agents), product (embedding with customers to understand their pain), GTM (unlocking distribution and winning sales), and customer management (scoping, planning, relationship-building).

About the role

This role is all the fun parts of being a Founder without nearly as much of the pain. You will go 0-1 and scale products repeatedly. Team members who succeed in this role will likely go on to start their own companies. We would consider that a successful hire.

You bring the entrepreneurial spirit. Haize brings the agent foundry, research talent, distribution, experience, compensation, and capital to enable you to sprint faster and swing bigger than you could starting from scratch.

We’re looking for people who are ridiculously high agency and ridiculously high urgency: individuals who start without waiting for instructions. Individuals who think on the fly and unblock themselves. Individuals who evolve with the problem, own the outcome, and deliver.

In this role, you will:
  • Build agents for almost any business you can imagine
  • Become a renaissance engineer, i.e. an expert across many domains
  • Unlock “apex distributors” in each vertical
  • Learn the lingua franca of each vertical
  • Originate and execute unconventional GTM strategies
  • Spend a LOT of time with the customer
  • Rapidly (<24 hours) prototype solutions
  • Be the PM: own entire solution delivery from scoping to handoff
  • Lead demos and workshops for customers
  • Maintain technical customer-facing documentation
  • Take learnings back to refine the Haize Reliability Harness
  • Collaborate closely with Research, Core Engineering, and GTM team
You are a great fit if you:
  • Are relentless, move insanely fast, and are always questioning the status quo
  • Think clearly and communicate cogently under pressure and on the fly
  • Are charismatic in front of customers
  • Know the startup stack, and realize tech debt is necessary
  • Want to deliver real economic value with AI
Ideal candidates likely:
  • Have been an FDE
  • Previously started their own company
  • Shipped popular tools (e.g. OS projects)
Logistics
  • Education requirement: doesn’t matter. If you are exceptional, you are exceptional.
  • Location policy: NYC/SF.
  • US visa sponsorship: If you are exceptional, we will sponsor.
Compensation

$150,000 – $250,000 annual salary
And generous equity + benefits

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
