Your Team, Your Impact

Corporate Development

What You Can Expect

The Vice President Corporate Development will report directly to the Executive Vice President Corporate Development and serve as a senior executive leading Marvell’s global M&A, strategic investment, partnership, and joint-venture activities.

This individual will define and drive the company’s inorganic growth strategy with a primary focus on data-center infrastructure, AI compute, networking, storage, and advanced interconnect technologies. The VP will partner closely with executive leadership, business units, and engineering leadership to shape strategy, evaluate critical technology gaps, and execute high-impact transactions that strengthen Marvell’s competitive position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior strategic leader shaping Marvell’s long-term inorganic growth strategy with a focus on data-center and AI infrastructure markets.

  • Build, oversee, and continuously refine a global pipeline of high-value opportunities, including acquisitions, strategic investments, and ecosystem partnerships.

  • Lead end-to-end deal execution for major transactions: strategic rationale, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and closing.

  • Partner with engineering and business unit executives to identify technology adjacencies, assess build-vs-buy-vs-partner alternatives, and establish actionable recommendations for the C-suite and Board.

  • Oversee development of financial models, synergy estimates, integration plans, and investment theses for complex technology transactions.

  • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team and business units to ensure alignment across strategy, finance, technology, and operations.

  • Present opportunities, recommendations, and post-acquisition results to the CEO, executive staff, and Board of Directors.

  • Represent Marvell in strategic external engagements with target companies, VCs, investment banks, ecosystem partners, and industry leaders.
