Job Description:
Position SummaryNextpower is evolving from a solar tracker company into an integrated utility-scale energy technology platform spanning trackers, eBOS, foundations, power conversion, energy storage, robotics, and other adjacent solutions. As the company continues to grow through both organic expansion and acquisitions, operational complexity is increasing, creating the need for greater alignment, standardization, scalability, and execution across the enterprise.

This executive establishes program governance, deploys Lean and Kaizen principled programs, modernizes business processes through systems and automation, and develops organizational capability that delivers measurable improvements in customer experience, productivity, operating margin, working capital, and cash flow. - Operational Excellence Office established with clear governance, team members hired, organizational structure, operating cadence with COO, and executive visibility.
- Comprehensive assessment of operational improvement opportunities completed with a prioritized multi-year transformation roadmap approved by the COO.
- Initial portfolio of strategic initiatives delivering measurable improvements in productivity, customer service, operating margin, and working capital.
- Increased adoption of enterprise systems and automation resulting in measurable reductions in manual effort and improved process consistency.
- Lean and Kaizen operating disciplines embedded across priority Operations functions through training, with expanding adoption across other functional areas.
- Executive leadership utilizing standardized operational performance metrics and portfolio reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
- Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and serves as a strategic partner in driving Nextpower's operational and business transformation agenda.
- Works closely with leaders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Field Operations, Engineering, Finance, IT, Sales, Human Resources, and other business functions to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that improve enterprise performance.
