About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced product designer with a focus on visual design and extraordinary skills for creating compelling UI. You will serve as the visual design champion for our evolving design system, partnering with senior leadership, designers and engineers. You’ll help scale the visual language of the design system, from color palettes and micro-interactions to icon libraries and design patterns.

We're looking for someone who is hands-on and a creative storyteller who can make high-level decisions in collaboration with various teams to deliver on the next-gen for our products.

What You'll Do:

  • Rapidly scope project work and balance short-term delivery needs with long-term goals.

  • Drive discovery and requirements gathering to inform designs and deliver successful solutions rooted in a systems thinking approach.

  • Evangelize use of the design system while promoting collaboration and team focused decision-making.

  • Effectively communicate design rationale and build cross-team consensus while solving complex challenges.

  • Model a culture of constructive and rigorous design reviews and guideline creation, in addition to helping manage creative direction and contributions.

  • Partner with front end engineers to guarantee adherence to coding standards such as variable usage and accessibility.

  • Develop knowledge of all CrowdStrike features and services in order to drive extensible, consistent, and cohesive solutions.

What You'll Need:

  • Strong illustration portfolio demonstrating various styles and techniques

  • Expertise in industry-standard tools including:

    • Figma, Axure

    • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills in visual, verbal and written formats

  • Experience with scaling enterprise-level design systems including component creation, theming, and design token usage

  • Experienced in creating accessible solutions

  • Strong understanding of visual design principles and storytelling

  • Documentation expertise for design guidelines and standards

  • Strong use of design artifacts to effectively build alignment, communicate ideas, and deliver an experience

  • Experience with custom Enterprise SaaS product design systems and familiarity with high-volume data industries such as cybersecurity and fintech desired

  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle

  • Experience with localization

  • Familiarity with engineering frameworks and ecosystems (Web Components, React, Ember, etc

  • Self-driven, growth-oriented, open to feedback and improvement.

  • Data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Strong servant leadership qualities, fostering teamwork

  • Excellent communication skills for effective team engagement and stakeholder relations.

  • Ability to create alignment between various stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.

  • Embraces ambiguity while figuring out incremental progress.

  • Strong illustration portfolio demonstrating development and maintenance of illustration and animation guidelines for various platforms.

  • Online portfolio.

  • Ability to work from our Arlington VA., Austin TX. Sunnyvale CA., Redmond WA. or New York NY. offices. Candidate should be comfortable visiting the office twice a week once the development center is established.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
