 Overview of the role:

InMobi is seeking a proven enterprise and ecosystem leader to serve as Vice President, Client Development – OEM & Telco, owning our global growth strategy and executive partnerships across the device manufacturer and telecom ecosystem.

This is a highly strategic, externally facing role at the intersection of consumer technology, AI-driven discovery, platform partnerships, and next-generation advertising experiences. You will lead InMobi’s engagement with the world’s most influential OEMs, mobile operators, and connected device platforms — shaping multi-year partnerships that unlock new consumer experiences and scalable commercial growth.

Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will define the OEM & Telco vertical charter globally, build executive-level Joint Business Partnerships (JBPs), and position InMobi as the trusted strategic partner powering the future of attention, discovery, and engagement across owned device surfaces.

This role is based in the United States, with significant global travel required across North America, Asia, and key strategic markets.

The impact you’ll make:

Global OEM & Telco Strategy Leadership

  • Own and execute InMobi’s global go-to-market strategy across OEMs, telecom operators, and connected device ecosystems.
  • Define the strategic roadmap for how Glance and InMobi’s advertising platform integrate into next-generation consumer technology experiences.
  • Translate major industry shifts — GenAI interfaces, privacy evolution, platform dynamics, and changing attention behavior — into scalable partnership playbooks.

Executive Partnerships & Joint Business Plans

  • Build and lead C-suite relationships with global decision-makers across OEMs and telecom operators (CEO, CBO, Head of Partnerships, Product, Monetization, Marketing).
  • Structure multi-year Joint Business Partnerships that span distribution, innovation, governance, and platform adoption.
  • Establish executive operating cadence, steering mechanisms, and measurable partnership success frameworks across top strategic partners.

Platform Partnerships & Product Co-Innovation

  • Drive strategic alignment between partner roadmaps and InMobi’s ecosystem, including:
  • Glance (TV, device-native experiences)
  • InMobi Exchange (open web and programmatic infrastructure)
  • GenAI-driven creative and commerce formats
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to co-develop differentiated OEM-native engagement models.
  • Unlock new surfaces and formats across mobile, connected TV, automotive, and ambient device environments.

Strategic Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and activate whitespace opportunities across the OEM and telecom landscape, including emerging device categories, operator-led platforms, and new distribution channels.
  • Expand InMobi’s footprint through alliances across adjacent ecosystem players — app stores, connected TV operators, commerce enablers, and strategic platform partners.
  • Lead the development of new partnership constructs, including co-innovation programs, joint go-to-market motions, and ecosystem roadmaps that drive global scale.
  • Own complex multi-market negotiations and long-term partnership commitments, ensuring strategic clarity, durability, and executive alignment.

Cross-functional & Organizational Leadership

  • Serve as the internal GM for the OEM & Telco vertical, aligning Client Development, Product, Solutions, Legal, and Revenue Operations.
  • Build and scale a high-performing global team over time, including regional account leadership and strategic partnership owners.
  • Represent OEM & Telco growth priorities in executive planning, AOP cycles, and leadership reviews.

The experience we need:

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise partnerships, platform business development, telecom/OEM ecosystems, or consumer technology strategy.
  • Deep understanding of OEM and operator dynamics, including distribution, platform roadmaps, ecosystem partnerships, and global operating models.
  • Proven track record of structuring and closing transformational, multi-year strategic partnerships with global technology leaders.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across complex partner organizations at the C-suite level.
  • Experience operating across global markets; familiarity with Asia-based OEM ecosystems strongly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, build new categories, and lead cross-functional execution in high-growth environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
