Position Purpose: Leads the enterprise change communications function, providing strategic direction, governance, and executive communications support for the organization's largest transformation initiatives, including enterprise modernization, organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, and business integration efforts.

  • Develops the enterprise change communications strategy aligned to business priorities.
  • Serves as the senior communications advisor to executive leadership and the Transformation Office.
  • Leads communications for enterprise transformation initiatives and organizational change programs.
  • Oversees executive messaging, leadership communications, and enterprise change campaigns.
  • Establishes governance, standards, and best practices for change communications.
  • Partners with HR, Transformation Office, and other key stakeholders and business leaders to drive alignment on how we plan and respond to change.
  • Develops measurement frameworks to evaluate communication effectiveness and adoption.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing team of change communications professionals.
  • Manages multiple enterprise initiatives while ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Identifies communication risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree Communications or related field required.
10+ years leadership experience, with progressive responsibility in corporate communications.
Demonstrated experience to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a highly regulated environment.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Pay Range: $188,900.00 - $359,800.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
