About Broccoli 🥦

At Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world.

We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done.

Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan.

Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built.

Today:

  • Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day.

  • We've grown to $15M+ ARR in under two years.

  • We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry.

  • We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.

We're still just getting started.

The Opportunity

We're looking for our first Founding Head of Marketing to build a world class marketing organization.

This is not a role where you'll inherit a mature marketing machine.

It's an opportunity to build one.

You'll take an already talented team and unite them behind one vision, one strategy, and one standard of excellence. You'll shape how Broccoli is positioned in the market, how customers experience our brand, how products launch, how demand is generated, and ultimately how marketing drives the company's growth.

Reporting directly to the COO, you'll be the senior marketing leader responsible for defining the strategy, setting the direction, and building the team that brings it to life.

If you're energized by building from the ground up, creating clarity from ambiguity, and helping shape the future of an industry, we'd love to meet you.

We expect this role to grow into our Chief Marketing Officer as Broccoli continues to scale.

What You'll OwnBrand Strategy and Positioning
  • Define and evolve Broccoli's brand as we scale.

  • Own positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.

  • Ensure every customer touchpoint reflects a consistent and compelling brand.

Product Marketing
  • Lead go to market strategy for new products and features.

  • Develop positioning, messaging, launch plans, and sales enablement materials.

  • Partner closely with Product to ensure customer insights shape our roadmap.

Demand Generation
  • Own pipeline generation across digital marketing, partnerships, events, lifecycle marketing, and paid acquisition.

  • Build scalable growth strategies tied directly to revenue.

  • Continuously optimize the customer journey and conversion funnel.

Content and Storytelling
  • Shape Broccoli's voice across every channel.

  • Elevate founder content, customer stories, product education, and thought leadership.

  • Build content contractors genuinely value, not marketing for marketing's sake.

Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an established marketing team.

  • Create clear operating rhythms, accountability, and high performance standards.

  • Recruit exceptional talent as the organization grows.

  • Build the systems, processes, and playbooks that allow marketing to scale.

Cross Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and Leadership.

  • Ensure marketing priorities align with company objectives.

  • Use data and customer feedback to continually improve results.

Who You Are

You have:

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility.

  • Experience building or significantly scaling a marketing organization.

  • Deep expertise in product marketing, positioning, and go to market strategy.

  • Strong experience across demand generation, digital marketing, and content strategy.

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.

  • A builder's mindset and a genuine passion for creating systems rather than inheriting them.

  • A track record of ownership, long term impact, and delivering measurable business results.

  • A bias toward action, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

More importantly, you care about outcomes.

You measure success by customer growth, adoption, revenue, and market leadership, not simply impressions and clicks.

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing SaaS or AI products.

  • Experience serving the home services industry.

  • Experience marketing to both SMB and enterprise customers.

  • Startup or high growth company experience.

Why Broccoli

Marketing is not a support function at Broccoli.

It is a growth engine.

You'll have the opportunity to shape how an entire industry understands AI while helping contractors solve real problems every day.

You'll join a company with proven product market fit, exceptional momentum, and an executive team that believes marketing belongs at the center of the business.

If you're looking for a role where your ideas shape the company as much as the campaigns, we'd love to meet you.

Broccoli is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. We celebrate diverse perspectives and believe great teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and ideas.
