N-iX is a global software development service company that helps businesses across the globe create next-generation software products. Founded in 2002, we unite 2,400+ tech-savvy professionals across 40+ countries, working on impactful projects for industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies. Our expertise spans cloud, data, AI/ML, embedded software, IoT, and more, driving digital transformation across finance, manufacturing, telecom, healthcare, and other industries. Join N-iX and become part of a team where your ideas make a real impact.

The foundation is already in place. N-iX is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with a signed Strategic Collaboration Agreement, a dedicated AWS Partner Development Manager for North America, a Partner Operations team, and delivery capability across cloud modernization, migration, data, and AI. What we need now is someone to convert that platform into revenue in North America.

As VP Strategic Alliances (North America) you will own that conversion. This is a senior individual contributor role with executive scope: you carry a dual number — N-iX services revenue and AWS ARR — and you hit it by activating your own book of contacts inside AWS and pointing it at our modernization, migration, and AI offerings.

What you will own

The number: services revenue and AWS ARR

  • Own the North American AWS revenue P&L: N-iX services bookings sourced and influenced through AWS, plus the AWS consumption/ARR you drive into the platform
  • Focus the motion on our three priority service lines — application and platform modernization, cloud migration, and AI/GenAI — and build the pipeline that fills them
  • Position every engagement so it lands as durable AWS consumption, making N-iX a partner AWS sellers bring in because it grows their number too
  • Forecast with the same rigor as direct sales; own the targets, scorecards, and executive reporting the business runs on
  • Build the business case for further AWS investment (competencies, certifications, MDF/co-op spend, Marketplace listings) and defend it at the executive level

Pipeline: from your network and through our AWS team

  • Work hand in hand with our dedicated AWS PDM for North America — set the joint plan, drive the programs, funding, and introductions they can unlock, and hold a working cadence that produces pipeline rather than status updates
  • Go where a PDM alone cannot: activate your own relationships with AWS account executives, solution architects, ISV and GSI teams, and segment and territory leadership across North America, and turn them into a working referral engine
  • Generate qualified pipeline through co-sell: get N-iX into seller account plans, convert AWS introductions into engagements, and make our modernization/migration/AI plays the obvious answer for AWS field teams
  • Put the SCA to work — drive the joint initiatives, targets, and executive cadence it enables rather than letting it sit as paper
  • Land and expand AWS funding and incentives (MAP, POC/POA funding, PIF, migration and modernization programs, Marketplace private offers) against real opportunities
  • Deepen our standing where it unlocks revenue: additional competencies and service-ready designations aligned to modernization, migration, and AI
  • Represent N-iX at AWS events and executive briefings — re:Invent, summits, partner leadership forums

Leading through the organization

  • Work with the Partner Operations team, who own opportunity registration, ACE hygiene, partner reporting, program compliance, and incentive claims — you set the direction and priorities; they carry the operational load
  • Align sales/engagement, marketing, delivery, Technology Office, CoEs, and Solution Group behind AWS objectives — through influence, not org chart
  • Shape the AWS-facing narrative with marketing and the Solution Group: solution plays and joint value propositions AWS sellers can pick up and run with
  • Bring the AWS perspective into leadership decisions on service lines, pricing, and target industries

Requirements:

  • Experience working inside AWS in a partner, alliance, or field sales role, with a North American network you can activate from week one
  • 10+ years combined in alliances, partner management, technology sales, business development, or consulting services, with a track record of carrying and hitting a number
  • Demonstrated ownership of a partner-sourced revenue target at scale, including forecasting and executive reporting
  • Track record selling or co-selling modernization, migration, and/or AI services — you can hold a credible business conversation about these engagements, not just the partner program around them
  • Fluency in how AWS measures partners: consumption and ARR, co-sell and ACE mechanics, competencies, funding and incentive programs, Marketplace, and SCA-level joint planning
  • Proven success building pipeline in the North American market
  • Comfortable and credible at C-level, both with AWS and internally
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Senior individual contributor mindset — strategic on the whiteboard, hands-on in the field
  • MA/MS degree or equivalent experience
  • English — advanced/native level, spoken and written
  • Ready for business trips (up to 40% of working time, primarily North America)
  • Flexible or remote; North America–based or able to work North American hours

Organizational relationship

Senior individual contributor — no direct reports. Supported by the Partner Operations team on registration, reporting, and program execution, and leads the wider organization through cross-functional influence.

We offer*:

  • Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible
  • A competitive salary and good compensation package
  • Personalized career growth
  • Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)
  • Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing
  • Education reimbursement
  • Memorable anniversary presents
  • Corporate events and team buildings
  • Other location-specific benefits
