Virta is looking for a Web Content Manager to help define and operate the content strategy for Member Growth across our web properties. This is a high-visibility role that blends strategy and hands-on execution: you will own the growth marketing blog, help shape SEO/GEO/AEO content opportunities, and build repeatable systems for producing accurate, compelling, high-performing content. You will partner closely with subject matter experts and teams across Growth, Product, Enterprise Marketing, PR, Clinical, and Design to turn complex ideas into content that helps prospective members discover, understand, and choose Virta. This role is ideal for a strong writer and editor who is excited to use data, AI-enabled workflows, and cross-functional collaboration to scale content quality and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Own the growth marketing blog from ideation through research, writing, editing, publishing, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization.

  • Define and manage a monthly and quarterly web content calendar that supports integrated marketing campaigns, growth enablement, SEO/GEO/AEO initiatives, and creative testing.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content inputs and corresponding assets across formats, including blog posts, articles, white papers, infographics, webinar content, landing pages, and other web experiences.

  • Conduct SEO and LLM user research to identify content opportunities, search intent, audience questions, competitive gaps, and ways to help prospective members evaluate Virta as their metabolic health solution.

  • Build and operate a repeatable content production engine that improves speed, quality, governance, and visibility from intake through compliance review, CMS publishing, and performance measurement.

  • Use AI-enabled workflows to accelerate research, summarization, drafting, repurposing, and content operations while maintaining editorial judgment, accuracy, technical credibility, and appropriate human review.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing, PR, Product, Clinical, and other content teams to align messaging, editorial calendars, research findings, and overall content strategy across Virta.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Build a stable and repeatable system for web content production that meets Virta standards for editorial voice, medical credibility, compliance readiness, and publishing quality.

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Growth, Product, Enterprise Marketing, PR, HR, Clinical, Design, and other content teams to understand priorities, workflows, audience needs, and existing content assets.

  • Create and begin operating a monthly and quarterly growth content calendar for web, aligned to company initiatives, campaign priorities, SEO/GEO/AEO opportunities, and relevant research findings.

  • Own and drive progress against a set of high-priority website content initiatives, including blog production, refresh opportunities, content frameworks, and priority growth web pages.

  • Scale and optimize AI-enabled content workflows focused on high-leverage experimentation, content repurposing, and faster production while preserving quality, accuracy, and Virta voice.

  • Establish practical reporting that connects content output to leading indicators such as organic impressions, rankings, clicks, engagement, conversion behavior, and priority audience questions.

Must-Haves
  • 5-7+ years of experience in web content production, content marketing, writing, editing, editorial operations, SEO content, or a related field.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, accurate content and translate complex subject matter into useful content for defined audiences.

  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, content strategy, search intent, performance measurement, and how content can drive measurable organic traffic, engagement, and conversion.

  • Experience partnering with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to organize, and translate complex information into usable content inputs and published assets.

  • Successfully designed and implemented repeatable AI-enabled workflows that address team bottlenecks and improve efficiency while maintaining editorial quality, accuracy, and brand voice.
