Job Description Summary:
Position SummaryModMed is seeking a seasoned Web Developer to join our dynamic Brand Experience Marketing team. In this senior-level role, you will lead the front-end engineering, technical architecture, and optimization of our public-facing corporate web properties. You will serve as the technical anchor bridging the gap between creative design operations and marketing technology, ensuring all digital experiences are high-performing, scalable, secure, and deeply integrated with our analytics and lead-generation pipelines.
Core ResponsibilitiesWeb Engineering & Architecture: Architect, develop, and maintain clean, semantic, and highly responsive components, custom theme elements, and modules within an enterprise WordPress ecosystem.
Design System Translation: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma design tokens, layouts, and advanced wireframes into production-ready web experiences, maintaining pixel-perfect fidelity and animation smoothness.
Marketing Infrastructure Integration: Oversee the technical deployment, validation, and maintenance of web forms, custom handlers, and backend integrations routing seamlessly to systems like Pardot and Salesforce.
Analytics & Telemetry Governance: Manage the site’s data layer architecture; configure and deploy custom event tracking, variables, and marketing tags via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4).
Performance & Compliance Optimization: Continuously monitor, audit, and improve site performance metrics, page speeds, and Google Core Web Vitals, while ensuring strict adherence to cross-browser compatibility and ADA/WCAG accessibility compliance standards.
Technical Leadership: Provide code reviews, repository governance, environment management, and technical mentorship to junior developers and contract engineering resources to maintain unified deployment workflows.
Experience: 5+ years of advanced front-end development experience in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment.
Core Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and PHP fundamentals as applied to custom WordPress development.
CMS Expertise: Deep hands-on experience building and modifying custom child themes, templates, and layouts within WordPress (including Divi or similar premium builder frameworks).
MarTech Tools: Strong technical proficiency managing container configurations within Google Tag Manager and setting up custom event structures in GA4.
Standards: Strong understanding of web security best practices, technical SEO strategies, and digital accessibility compliance guidelines.
