Job Description

  • Employment Type: W2 only
  • Compensation: $70-75 hour
  • Duration: Full-time (40 hours/week) through December 31, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
  • Office: Hybrid
  • Location: West Coast Preferred

About the Role 

As a Web Program Manager, you'll serve as a trusted partner to enterprise technology clients, helping orchestrate complex web programs that span multiple initiatives, products, and stakeholder groups. You'll work across marketing, product, design, engineering, analytics, and business teams to align priorities, drive execution, and advance strategic web objectives.

Your work will improve how programs are planned, prioritized, executed, and optimized—ultimately driving stronger customer experiences and business outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

Program Management & Delivery 

  • Own the intake, planning, prioritization, and delivery of web initiatives across a consumer marketing website 
  • Independently drive projects from intake through launch, including development of project briefs, requirements, timelines, stakeholder communications, and launch plans 
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of product marketing, design, engineering, analytics, SEO, legal, brand, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver initiatives 
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while balancing competing priorities, dependencies, and evolving business needs 
  • Partner closely with the Consumer Marketing Web Lead to align on roadmap priorities, resourcing, tradeoffs, and strategic direction 
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and proactively drive resolution 

Strategic Problem Solving & Optimization 

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve site performance, user experience, operational efficiency, content effectiveness, SEO, and overall web program maturity 
  • Proactively surface risks, gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging opportunities, bringing forward recommendations and proposed solutions 
  • Conduct audits, analyses, and research to inform optimization opportunities and future roadmap investments 
  • Drive process improvements that improve scalability, execution quality, and stakeholder experience 
  • Apply web best practices and strategic thinking to both new initiatives and existing site experiences 
  • Establish and refine operational processes, documentation, and governance frameworks that support a growing web program 

Web Strategy & Planning 

  • Translate marketing and business objectives into actionable web recommendations and project plans 
  • Evaluate requests through the lens of business impact, user experience, technical feasibility, SEO, analytics, brand standards, and long-term site health 
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization discussions by identifying high-impact opportunities and recommending tradeoffs when necessary 
  • Ensure web initiatives support broader marketing goals and customer journey objectives 
  • Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and measurement approaches for key initiatives 

Stakeholder Management & Communication 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned initiatives, driving alignment across stakeholders and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Consolidate feedback, facilitate decision-making, and communicate recommendations, risks, dependencies, and progress clearly 
  • Escalate strategic decisions, roadmap shifts, and major risks to the Consumer Marketing Web Lead when appropriate 
  • Lead recurring project communications, stakeholder reviews, and status updates 
  • Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups while effectively navigating competing priorities and perspectives 

Analytics & Performance 

  • Use data and performance insights to inform recommendations, prioritization decisions, and optimization opportunities 
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement 
  • Partner with analytics stakeholders to develop reporting, measurement frameworks, and performance reviews 
  • Communicate performance outcomes, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership 
  • Translate performance data into actionable next steps and roadmap opportunities

  • Web initiatives are prioritized effectively based on business impact, effort, dependencies, and strategic value 
  • Opportunities for optimization and improvement are proactively identified and acted upon Cross-functional teams remain informed, aligned, and accountable throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Risks, blockers, and dependencies are surfaced early and managed effectively 
  • Web recommendations are grounded in data, business objectives, and industry best practices 
  • Operational processes become more scalable, efficient, and effective over time 
  • Site performance, user experience, and overall program health continuously improve through proactive ownership 
  • Work is organized, timelines are managed, and nothing falls through the cracks 

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in web marketing, digital marketing, web strategy, web program management, consulting, agency, or related roles 
  • Experience in consulting, agency, or other fast-paced, highly matrixed environments preferred 
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional web initiatives from planning through launch 
  • Experience developing project briefs, timelines, requirements, stakeholder communication plans, and implementation strategies 
  • Strong understanding of how web supports the full marketing funnel, including acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention 

Demonstrated experience with: 

  • Landing page strategy 
  • SEO fundamentals and optimization 
  • Content strategy and information architecture 
  • User journeys and conversion best practices 
  • Website governance and operational processes 
  • Web analytics and performance measurement 
  • Experience using data and insights to inform recommendations, prioritization decisions, and optimization opportunities 
  • Strong project and program management skills, including prioritization, dependency management, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation 
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product marketing, design, engineering, analytics, legal, and brand teams 
  • Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, make recommendations, and drive initiatives to completion 
  • Bachelor's degree required 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SEO basics and how they integrate into web content workflows
  • Consumer hardware, e-commerce, or devices web marketing background
  • Experience with project management tools 
  • Content strategy experience (educational guides, product exploration, editorial calendars)
  • Agency coordination experience
