About VCloud Digital Marketing

VCloud Digital Marketing helps small and mid-sized businesses grow through strategic digital marketing solutions, including website development, website refreshes, SEO, local search optimization, AI-powered marketing solutions, lead generation, and online visibility services.

Our team combines marketing expertise, technology, and data-driven strategies to help businesses attract more customers, improve their online presence, and drive measurable growth.

About the Role

VCloud Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Marketing Sales Representative – AI Solutions to help expand our client base throughout the United States.

This is a consultative sales role focused on generating new business opportunities, building relationships with business owners, and helping prospective clients identify opportunities to improve their online presence through websites, SEO, AI-powered marketing solutions, and lead generation strategies.

The ideal candidate understands how websites, SEO, keyword strategy, local search visibility, content marketing, digital marketing, and emerging AI-powered marketing solutions contribute to business growth and can confidently discuss these concepts with business owners.

While this is not a hands-on development, SEO, or implementation role, candidates should have enough industry knowledge to identify opportunities, educate prospects, and communicate effectively with internal marketing and development teams.

Internal marketing and development teams are responsible for website development, SEO implementation, campaign management, and ongoing service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect small and mid-sized businesses that can benefit from digital marketing services.
  • Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Generate qualified leads through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email, and business development activities.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Present digital marketing solutions and recommend services that align with client needs.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting through proposal presentation and closing.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
  • Meet or exceed sales and business development goals.
  • Review prospective client websites and online presence to identify growth opportunities.
  • Discuss website improvements, SEO opportunities, keyword strategies, local search visibility, AI-powered marketing solutions, and lead generation strategies with prospective clients.
  • Present recommendations and proposals in a clear, professional, and consultative manner.
  • Coordinate with internal marketing and development teams to ensure client needs and project goals are clearly communicated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital marketing sales, business development, consultative sales, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of websites, SEO, keyword strategy, local search visibility, digital marketing concepts, and the business applications of AI-powered marketing solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles including keywords, search rankings, local SEO, website content, online visibility, and lead generation strategies.
  • Ability to identify website and online marketing opportunities and discuss them confidently with prospective clients.
  • Ability to communicate marketing and technology solutions in business-focused language.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email marketing platforms, and business productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling digital marketing, website, SEO, technology, or business services.
  • Experience selling to or working with small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and B2B clients.
  • Experience preparing proposals and client presentations.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, development, or technical teams.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a sales professional who enjoys helping small and mid-sized businesses grow and can confidently explain how websites, SEO, AI-powered marketing solutions, and digital visibility strategies contribute to business success.

The successful candidate understands digital marketing concepts well enough to identify opportunities, educate prospects, and guide sales conversations, while relying on internal marketing and development teams to execute and deliver client solutions.
