By joining CrossVue you’ll be making a direct impact on our growing Workday practice, regularly taking part in:

  • Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Our consultants are hands-on involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, overseeing supplier enablement, and best practices  
  • Contributing beyond client delivery, including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement, and beyond
  • Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

CrossVue is seeking a top-performing client relationship and solution sales executive to pursue potential clients for our practice. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant industry and ERP applications experience, and demonstrated selling attributes and techniques. The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving industry-aligned growth — partnering closely with Workday to build trusted relationships, expand brand recognition, and deliver thought leadership grounded in customer insight. Working hand-in-hand with CrossVue leadership and Workday, the account executive focuses their highly skilled efforts on industry go-to-market thought leadership and industry events, securing relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit process, and lead the pursuit team throughout the sales cycle. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role as CrossVue expands its Workday-related business across specific geographic and industry areas of focus.

As a Workday Account Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute net new business and territory development

  • Maintain the Workday industry and sales GTM Brand

  • Create Industry GTM Brand Recognition

  • Create Industry Thought leadership and Customer Insights (with Exec Sponsors)

  • Create the overall industry marketing/conference and events plan

  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and service forecast data

  • Manage statement-of-work and contracting process

  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position CrossVue’s Workday practice

  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to identify and develop potential new prospects and identify additional opportunities within the existing client base

  • Build and maintain relationships with regional Workday personnel as needed to jointly sell business solutions to existing or new customers

  • Keep and maintain all sales related information

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve or exceed the company’s target growth and margin requirements

  • Achieve or exceed established bookings, revenue and margin targets within identified regions

  • Establish and maintain top-level contact with key decision makers installed Workday accounts

  • Analyze factors in the marketplace to formulate forecasts, estimates and projections that impact selling initiatives

We’re looking for someone with:
  • 5+ years of proven sales and business development

  • Prior experience in business application sales, preferably with Workday or with another ERP solution

  • Ability to understand and effectively explain the benefits of an on-demand/software-as-a service (SaaS) offering

  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment

  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams and clients, make an impact, and provide excellent client service

  • “Techno-functional” blend of training / experience with knowledge of at least one Financial/HCM/ERP System (i.e. Workday, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, SAP, Coupa, Intacct, Host Analytics, etc.)

  • High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit!

  • Professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Creativity, confidence, flexibility, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Great sense of humor 

  • Successful track record of selling services or products to identified clients via a third party

  • Executive presence (i.e. – the ability to communicate clearly and convincingly to senior executives)

  • High integrity, honors commitments and consistent and predictable follow-up

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Solution enabler and consultative sales style

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Strong presentation, communication and writing skills

  • Demonstrated success in a professional services (Big 4) matrix organization A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline  

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000 per year. The salary range reflects the target pay range for this role. However, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors when extending an offer of employment, which include, but are not limited to work experience, qualifications, skills and location. Compensation ranges may be modified in the future, at the sole discretion of CrossVue.

A Note on Travel: For the past year+ we have delivered projects remotely with much success, though we do plan to travel again in the near future. Our approach is different in that we are purposeful in scheduling on-site visits with clients around their unique needs rather than the standard Monday-Thursday travel schedule that you'll find at other large firms. We expect travel to be roughly 20-25% (could be more or less) but we’ll continue to monitor this area and adapt as needed.
