About Cogent

Cogent is an Applied AI Lab building the next generation of AI agents for cybersecurity. AI has fundamentally changed how attacks happen, allowing malicious actors to operate at unprecedented speed and scale. Cogent’s "AI Taskforce" assesses petabytes of enterprise data to remediate these issues before critical breaches occur.

To stay at the cutting edge, we blend frontier research with real-world execution. Alongside our core product work, Cogent Research serves as our applied AI lab, providing the research horsepower needed to make truly agentic security workflows a reality. We partner with Fortune 500 companies to secure some of the most complex production environments in the world.

We’re backed by Greylock & Bain Capital Ventures, and we’ve built a team with the best minds in applied AI. Our team is comprised of people from:

  • Top universities like Stanford, Berkeley, Penn, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Waterloo

  • Unicorn, high-growth companies like Scale AI, Databricks, Stripe, Tesla, Coinbase

  • World class cybersecurity experts from Wiz, Abnormal AI, Zscaler

  • Preeminent research labs like Deepmind and SAIL

About the Role

We’re hiring a Workplace Manager to own the day-to-day experience of our San Francisco office and coordinate logistics for our New York office. You’ll be based in SF, in office 3 days a week or as needed, and you’ll be the person who makes both locations run.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate office move-ins and move-outs, including vendor scheduling, timelines, and setup

  • Manage office logistics for SF and NY: ordering supplies, handling shipments, visitor and guest check-in, and vendor relationships

  • Plan and execute team offsites, from venue selection through day-of logistics

  • Build employee experience programs that make Cogent a place people want to grow: team bonding events, recurring traditions, and a general read on how people are doing

  • Own new hire onboarding logistics: first-day setup, laptop provisioning and pickup, desk assignment, and building access

  • Oversee logistics for our New York office remotely, coordinating with local vendors and NY-based team members to keep that office running smoothly

  • Act as the go-to person for office-related questions and issues in both locations

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or a related coordination role

  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and office moves or build-outs

  • Comfortable owning a second office’s logistics remotely, without daily in-person oversight

  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through on details that don’t get missed

  • Clear, proactive communicator who works well across teams and locations

Bonus Points
  • Experience supporting a company with offices in more than one city

  • Experience planning offsites or company events end to end
