About the Role

Hinge Health is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Workplace Manager to own end-to-end in-office workplace strategy, performance, onsites programs, and delivery across our San Francisco headquarters, Montreal office, and Hub locations. This role is responsible for ensuring our physical spaces enable exceptional employee experiences, collaboration, and connection while maintaining operational excellence and fiscal discipline.

As part of the People team, you will lead the Workplace function, managing a team that delivers seamless office operations, event logistics, and service standards for Hinge Health employees. You'll balance the need to create inspiring in-person environments with smart resource management, ensuring every dollar spent drives meaningful impact on culture and productivity. This is a highly operational leadership role for someone who thrives in managing complex logistics, vendor ecosystems, and cross-functional partnerships at scale.

What You'll Accomplish
  • End-to-End Workplace Strategy & Operations: Own the full lifecycle of workplace experience across SF, Montreal, and Hub locations — from setting the strategic vision for how our spaces enable collaboration and culture, to ensuring the day-to-day operational details are executed flawlessly. You are equally comfortable defining the "what" and "why" as you are rolling up your sleeves on the "how."

  • Events & Onsites at Scale: Lead the strategy, standards, and delivery of all SF-based events and team onsites as well as signature company moments (summer & holiday parties, etc.) — building repeatable frameworks that scale while maintaining quality and fiscal discipline across 90+ events annually.

  • Budget Stewardship: Own the workplace budget end-to-end — from forecasting and vendor negotiations to real-time spend management and resource reallocation — ensuring every investment ties back to employee experience and business priorities.

  • Service Excellence: Define and continuously raise the bar on in-office service standards — establishing SLAs, accountability structures, and measurement systems that translate operational rigor into a best-in-class employee experience.

  • Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Workplace team while serving as the connective tissue across IT, Real Estate, Finance, and People Business Partners — driving alignment from strategic planning through tactical execution.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or office/event program management with progressive responsibility

  • 2+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and performance manage a team

  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-location workplace operations with significant budget ownership

  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience with the ability to build partnerships that deliver quality and value

  • Excellent operational execution and project management skills — able to manage high volumes of workplace requests, concurrent events and priorities without dropping details

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing workplace programs for hybrid or distributed organizations across multiple geographies

  • Background in corporate events, hospitality, or facilities management with deep knowledge of industry best practices

  • Familiarity with tools such as LiquidSpace, Envoy, event management platforms, and ticketing/service desk systems

  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Real Estate) in a coordination capacity

  • Data-driven approach to measuring employee experience, service quality, and operational efficiency
